john "the bomber" brown

Recommended Posts

So who better for the job? The man is tailor made for the position, and he has Rangers at heart, which John Brown did not when he scored a hat trick against us and then gave us the two fingers.

No obvious answer to that one!!!

But listen I'm not claiming Brown is the answer(by the way what he did in a Rangers jersey for years far outweighs the actions in a heat of moment situation over 20years ago) but I just feel that Green is dubious to say the least

Just seems like another one of those coincidences that's all

If you want to pledge you allegiances to RANGERS that's your prerogative but I think there's more than meets the eye personally

Well it's a case of either buying season tickets when we find out what league we're in or pretending Rangers don't exist until Green's out the door.

If Brown,McColl etc are worried about Whyte still being there there's one solution - Shut your mouth and put your hands in your pockets.

If they're not prepared to do that I'd rather they fucked off and left us with the task of rebuilding Rangers.

We've enough on our plate without more timewasters.

The problem is we don't really know who the timewasters are!!

Only because Brown wouldn't tell us.

I genuinely believe he MUST know something to come out from left field on Wednesday the way did in the press all day and then finishing off at the front steps later that night!!

He must have heard something that possibly Ally heard when he threatened to quit I don't know but it stinks to high heaven....hope I'm wrong but I'm not!!!!

yes thats all it is. Coincidence. Zeus are a firm whose purpose is to provide investments. Football, in the EPL in particular, is a good investment if done properly, The fact Zeus were involved in Quinns takeover is, if anything, a good thing as it shows they aren't complete rookies when it comes to football and its very unique business model.

The one's who's mouths do more talking than their cheque books?

If I want to buy something I'll buy it,talk is cheap.

Well I was at ibrox the other night and bomber stated that he told Green that he had a bid of 8.7million pound sitting waiting to be accepted but was refused.Bomber then claimed that he asked how much the consortium had spent up until that point and was given a figure of 8.7million.He then asked Green to name his price and up until now I still don't believe he has been given a figure.

Something stinks!!!!

except before Brown even appeared on the scene Green (or possibly Murray) was quoted as saying his consortium had spent £10m. But apart from that one time, you're right. Green has never given a figure.

If you mean for Green to name his price for a takeover I believe he has made it clear. He isn't willing to sell the club. However if Brown wishes to invest then the opportunity is there.

Well maybe make a higher bid? The bid was refused it's not that difficult.

He's relying on the fans to help him get the club on the cheap.

Malcolm Murray invited him for talks regarding investment, ideal opportunity to get round the table and crunch numbers.

People who just joined up around the time the shit was hitting the fan........................don't be coy.

Thats was me too!! Although I was on FF from 2007 as 'The Dude' before Dingwall banned me for asking how much he was making from the Red & Black scarves. Although there are a whole load who joined at the same time who just seem to scream 'taig' at me. :sherlock:

He has stated from day one that he is in this for a profit and little else

Or is this just another change of heart he has had

Malcolm Murray said yesterday that they will let us know in the coming weeks about fan ownership a day after Brown made the same point but that was never mentioned before as he had 20 investors to take Rangers forward and that was the first I had heard that this was their business model.

Think about it mate something's not right.

Then why won't he meet Donald Findlay then...maybe cos he's a legal expert eh???

Green has said his consortium will make £30m at the completion of their plan. If this is the case why walk away for a penny less than £30m?

The Bombster IS a Rangers hero (over the years). However, don't know if announcing another "attempted" buyout with season ticket lolly was wise. Dunno wit's wit man! Is there anybody out there? IS THERE ANYBODY OUT THERE!

I must have missed Donald Findlay's bid to buy the club?

If you had your own business and I wanted to come in and have a nosey at your personal documents you would tell me to fuckoff and rightly so.

This guy's already admitted to trying to 'smoke them out' why the fuck would they allow anyone to look at important documents now?
