caseyjones 3,009
Froome and Wiggins putting down the hammer now. What the fuck was that all about?
Yoghurto 9
Froome could've done some serious damage to Wiggins had he not been called back.
caseyjones 3,009
Wiggins only weakness getting exposed there. He's susceptible to a sprint like that but just grinds it back again. With the time he has in hand he can afford to lose a few seconds.
AyeReadyStu 70
Wiggo has absolutely nothing on Froome in the mountains (neither does anyone else mind), Froome would win this tour by a distance if Wiggo worked for him.
caseyjones 3,009
Froome could've done some serious damage to Wiggins had he not been called back. He's not there to do damage to Wiggins while giving a tow to Nibali.
Duncan 23
Got a feeling next year Froome will be allowed to attack. What a machine he is.

AyeReadyStu 70
Froome sounded frustrated in the interview there. Think he knows he could leave Wiggo behind if he was allowed to.
AyeReadyStu 70
This would be extraordinarily interesting if Froome wouldn't have lost 1:40 from a puncture in the first week.

Duncan 23
The team couldn't ride for Wiggins, Froome and Cavendish. Something has to give.Never understood the cavendish thing. Struggles in sky. caseyjones 3,009
Never understood the cavendish thing. Struggles in sky. They should have signed renshaw as well to help cav.Cavendish wants the Olympic gold, hence the weight loss to increase his climbing ability. He knew that he wouldn't be getting a lead out from Sky if there was still a chance of the GC, but he's one of the best at being in the right spot in the bunch finish. AyeReadyStu 70
SkyThe team couldn't ride for Wiggins, Froome and Cavendish. Something has to give.Something will probably change at the end of the season, I don't see Cav and/or Froome fulfilling their contracts at Sky. Cav has one guy (Eisel) to help him for the tour. Cav has one guy (Eisel) to help him for the tour.An embarrassment of riches. All being well, I think Wiggins will be team leader once again with Froome as back-up, knowing that he will be the natural successor to Brad. Froome may even get the gig at the Vuelta. Cavendish may revert to outright power to contest the sprints.

caseyjones 3,009
Anyone know if the autobus made the time limit?Looking like six or seven will be eliminated. Gesink, Renshaw, Pettachi and Krivtsov are out. "@MarkCavendish: Oh my, I'm tired. That was a disgusting stage!! Maxou 66
Rolland and Pinot are too interesting guys to follow in French cyclism. Wiggins is sure to win now imo, the tour is not worth watch anymore
