RFC Eagle 4,888
Going by Meulensteens comments this is what he seemed to have told the board.Guess that panicked them so they binned him.He is, apparently, still under contract at Fulham. I feel sorry for the fans the owner is making it a bigger circus than Al-Fayed. The last 2 performances showed massive improvement. I think they are certain to go down.Meulensteen was asked to stay on at Old Trafford, maybe he would have been better taking that offer. On a brighter note it does mean he's (possibly) available! Maybe get him up to look at the coaching set up and make some suggestions?

simplythebest 11,453
They've got a really ageing squad and almost need a relegation to offload them and then come back stronger in a way similar to what Newcastle did.For every Newcastle there's Leeds, Bolton etc. They do look doomed but the way this season is it only takes one good run, look at West Ham
