NavyBear 100
Evening lads, just wondering if anyone has any idea how you go about organising a game against the Legends team? As the military football season is almost over the QE2 ships football team are looking at organising games in Scotland to keep us ticking over (and it gets us out of work for a day to play football). I know the the Rangers charity donate to the forces charities so I was looking at that angle, and if we could put it on do you think with the correct advertisement people would like to come along and watch and instead of paying donate what you can at the gate to RNRMC? Any help would be gratefully appreciated

NavyBear 100
Yeah my initial thought was govanblue, but his work with Erskine etc the boy needs a break now and again lol I've had a good lead PM'd to me so hopefully they can steer me in the right direction and give advice on how to run it, if I can make it happen would be great PR for both the ship and our club, mind you if the hammer plays I'm no standing in any wall for a FK ? SeparateEntityMyArse 54,329
Stonefield Teddies has arranged a good few games involving legends. He's raised for Lee Rigby and Fernando. Not sure if what your after would be seen as competition if he's trying to arrange other games himself but he's probably your best shout on here. He may not be on here much anymore, he runs the Stonefield Tavern so could try directly too. Good luck.

Or the current MS Queen Elizabeth which I've been on twice which is primarily an ocean liner, currently in the Bay Of Biscay, spends very little time in Britain and has no direct involvement with the military unless requisitioned in a time of international danger ? Or the aircraft carrier which is still 20% incomplete and not going to the RN till 2019 ?

Nah, it's not my area of specialism. I don't have any connections to the Legends. And yes, I do need a break! 4 hours ago, Sportingintegritymyarse said: Stonefield Teddies has arranged a good few games involving legends. He's raised for Lee Rigby and Fernando. You can probably contact him on followfollow. If that's not who your good lead is already. Good Luck oh and if you're looking for a mascot... https://www.gofundme.com/joshuaburnsadair
