As the title said, today was an eye opener. 

In Warburtons own words, he'll never just bring in a player for the sake of it. Anyone he does bring in will only enhance the squad.

Granted, maybe hes not been backed. But thats no excuse for signing Hill and Senderos. 2 wrongs dont make a right.

As for Krancjar and Barton. Again 2 pish signings. 

McKay has been rotten so far this season, so why was he played ahead of Forrester or O'halloran?

It boils down to the manager now. The decisions he makes now will make or break the season.

The money we're paying Barton and Krancjar could have got us a decent centre half but sadly the part of the team that's been weakest is only an afterthought for the manager.

I found it weird when we signed Barton. He already snapped up Rossiter, who is highly regarded down south, in that position. 

Hindsights a great thing. But he should've brought in a decent center back.
