dummiesoot 16,013
When Walter & Souness were here we had a easily named front pairing, be it Hately and McCoist, Hately and Johnson, Drinkell & McCoist, etc. We were potent and the rest of the team fitted around the team to suit the front pairing. Nowadays, many managers prefer to either tinker with the team formation or use a rotation system, Liverpool are the most obvious example. However, it does not seem to be too successful in leagues as Liverpool so ably prove. My question is, should we be sticking to a tried and tested formation and front pairing or are you happy with the the way Ws is going about his business? robroy72 0
I'd be happer with a front pairing, to be honest. JCD + Boyd or Cousin
JR 1,480
I want 4-2-3-1, with Buffel in the middle of the 3.
mark_ni 12
i think a front 2 would be much better. Cousin and darcheville with buffel just behind them, i think that would be cracking. Boyd would score more with buffel playing as well imo.
