chewbacca 8 Posted May 11, 2008 Share Posted May 11, 2008 Hi bears, hopefully those in the know haven't all left for Manchester yet lol I'm currently searching for a new laptop, still looking but fairly keen on the Samsung R700 unfortunately though it does not contain a firewire connection. I will be using laptop for video editing and have only ever used firewire. Looking into it you can purchase a firewire>>usb connection cable but my worry is could the image/recorded quality be lost using this method or should I just keep looking at get a lesser laptop (price restricts me) that contains a firewire connection. If you can offer advice thanks. I'm currently searching google for the answer as well lol Edit - Ah well, tried to add link to laptop that takes my fancy but I'm such a dafty I don't even know how to get that right haha Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
