cogsy69uk 62 Posted May 22, 2008 Share Posted May 22, 2008 Came home from the pub tonight totally gutted and the tv was still on setanta1, I was in total shock hearing the fields of athenry blaring out over the tannoy system with the tarriers singing along. Why oh fucking why were Dundee Utd playing that song over their very own tannoy system, and why do they they have that song in their repertoire at all? I've also been told that they played the song the tims stole from Liverpool as well. Disgrace. I will never attend another Dundee Utd/Rangers game at Tannadice again and fully support the RST in their calls for a boycott of future games. If their attitude towards Rangers FC after our recent encounter wasn't bad enough, pandering towards these republican bastards by playing such "songs" at their own ground is the last straw for me. Agree with Craigee too, Willo Flood was ripping into them every chance he got, every credit to the lad, especially considering we have called him a sympathiser.
