sirwattiesmith 7 Posted July 31, 2008 Share Posted July 31, 2008 I feel at Rangers we need to sell oursleves a little bit more, I'm not saying we are "run down", but a wee touch here and there would make me, and many other feel a little bit freshier. POINT 1: for example, that match day music, its nearly great, I feel if we get rid of all the sandstorm,another one bites the dust, rock music and all that pish, it could help us. when u watch games, its only the small stupid clubs who don't have the songs 2 play at games that have all the ting tings,queen etc etc etc. last nights introduction of simply the best was GREAT, but they hardly even played the song at all, what about playing a little bit more of it? right up until kick-off, make it our song again. But I realise we all have to behave or it will be stopped again. I for one think its great without the add ons anyways, its unique. POINT 2: Dugout: why can't we invest in a better looking and more modern dugout? leather seats? like the premiership teams, maybe it will make walter sit in it more instead of sitting in the stand lol? , surley 10 leather seats arn't out of our budget? POINT 3: Cleaning: I watched that gazza video, and it had a clip of a younger team inside Ibrox, cleaning the seats and all that, I would do it, cause my dads seat had a big birds ...poo on it last night, and mines was a little dirty, surley this wouldn't be 2 hard? another thing is that on the mainstand, where I am sitting in the enclousre, there are hundreds of little rangers badges all along the front of the tier, but most of themare covered in mud n stuff, curley a little clean every season would shine them up a bit. POINT 4: The scoreboard, how long have we had that? the pixels are like car mats....... and they are yellow. Can't we get some led screens? with red white and blue as the colour scheme? it would defo modernise us a little more. POINT 5: Advertisements and jumbo screens: I think these are already planned to be upgraded, well the jumbo screens are in september and the led adcertisement boards are coming soon?????? POINT 6: Running out of points now, but I for one would like the stairs to be changed in colour the next time they are painted, how about red step, white step? or red stairway, white stairway? POINT 7: I didn't see broxi last night, where was he? he should be there every match POINT 8: The flags when the players come out of the tunnel, why are they coloured nice on one side, bright blue, red and white. But on the other they are all sort of faded and discoloured? POINT 9: A tannoy type thing, wouldn't it be great if we had those things some teams in germany have, where some1 in the ground as loud speakers and can help rallie up the crowd, how great would 2 hear one fan through a tannoy screaming like hell on a champions league night. It would make us seem even more mental that the bouncy already makes us seem. POINT 10: LAST POINT Trumpets and drums, could murray hirer a few bands around the stadium? It sounds great in videos like this: with the drums playng:and its very unique. all these little things would make the full stadium 2x better than it already is.
