*Manticore* 1,893
Was at a work 'event' and I bumped into a tim I used to work with. We got chatting about footie and the game on Wednesday, and the RHOU/ Sectarianism stuff. He asked what it's like at The 'Brox - is there sectarian chanting and stuff, I told him not that I have heard for years. He said that he occasionally goes to the piggery and not being a ST holder he's always near the away fans. Then he said 'it's strange, it's like we can do what we like, shout, chant, gesticulate and nothing happens'. 'But if the away fans respond in kind the police and stewards are on them right away'. 'We had noticed' I said.....

bombaybadboy08 15,660
Cant speak for games Vs other SPL opposition but i know at old firm games the cops focus more on the away support, at the 2-0 game when Vignal and and Novo scored my mate got escorted out for mumbling"fe**** basta*ds" during the mankies huddle, i barely heard him but the cops 6 rows down were right in there like Gary Glitter at school sports day. murder

macranger 296
Can't remember which game it was, but I remember Rangers fans getting a union jack taken off them at the piggery, while the taigs waved tricolours at the other end. What f**king country do we live in when the daily rebel (& every other paper)is bumming about british athletes (which includes scots) winning medals & doing laps of honour draped in union jacks, then moaning about Rangers fans saying they are British & waving union jacks.
