Why the hatred towards Boyd from the so-called 'Boyd haters'

Just look at the responses towards Kyle Lafferty from some on here!

If Lafferty done the job Boyd does.... i would be screaming about him aswell.. but he doesnt.

When he gets his chance, he flumps it. Boyd takes it.

Lafferty - one chance against DU, scores. One chance against Hamilton, scores.

Boyd - one chance against celtic, misses.

If you're going to make generalisations that just aren't true, then I'm going to twist the facts to suit my argument as well.

LMFAO!!!!!!

So Lafferty's 2 goals are better than Boyd's 20????

Shut up mate.

Read the last sentence of that post again, then think very carefully about what it means.

Read the last one of mines aswell (tu)

We won, Boyd scored twice. Stop slating the guy.

He also wasted many chances that a better striker could have created something with, looked slow, was too lazy to challenge defenders or chase the ball, was pretty bad in the air, so on so on. The game should have been won by half time, and while obviously that's not entirely down to Boyd, he has to take his share of the blame. I can't think of many other players in the world who get defended so much because they had two good touches of the ball.

Muff, go find another striker that would cost £500k and would score 90 goals in 128 appearences.

Maybe not goalscorer but I could find a better all round striker!

And sometimes that matters more!

Its a losing battle Muff

Boyd is world class, Mr Rangers, the saviour, best striker on the planet

LOL... you're just being an idiot now.

What is it with you and your lol's lmao's rofl's ..cant you have a reasonable debate without being a fud?

Oh shit... sorry!!

I forgot we are not meant to use TEXT SPEAK on here.

Name one player in our team who could do the job he does.... please, just name one.

2 goals against Inverness and Boyd is amazing again.

Again does it matter who the opposition are? Consistantly beating these kind of teams wins you the championship, these games are massive even if the opposition aren't.

No beating Celtic at home, Dundee utd at home, Motherwell away, Hearts away etc goes a long way to winning the SPL title.

Everyone is humping Inverness, they are by far the worst team in the SPL

Scott McDonald 400K much much much better than Boyd

I want a striker who can link up with midfield, beat a man, quick Cousin esque(without the attitude)

 You want someone that scores less goals?

Fair enough.

Its funny that because if we played boyd more often against the poor teams that only he scores against that we dropped points against, maybe we would have won the league?

we play Celtic four times aseason. We play the "SHITE" 34 times a season. If we win the 34 games we have more chance of winning the league than if we just won the four against the timmys (tu)

Totally disagree. Old Firm games don't decide the title, the rate we've been dropping points this season we could have beaten Celtic four times and still lost the league.

Today was a massive game, no two ways about it.

Exactly, instead we had these "class" strikers like Darcheville and Cousin who could hold the ball well, and pass it, run with it.

But yet they couldn't do the ONE thing that at the end of the season matters.

SCORE, and put a goal on the sheet.

11 of his goals this season have been against Hamilton & Inverness.

Boyd is not a big game player. He can look like a superstar all he likes against the smaller teams but there's a reason he gets dropped for all the bigger games.

Compare Boyd to McDonald's goals.

Who's better at their job?
