  1. There should be a dramatic decrease in monies paid to non-footballing staff, like the hundreds of thousands being paid out to the board members. If we havent got the cash then they cant take it! This should at least stem the river of cash running out our club.
  2. for me this is a whole lot of bluster aimed at raising cash through our season tickets. there is no way anyone could organise a share rights issue within 3 weeks, anyone with any experience of this type of thing knows full well he's at it. the biggest question with the rights issue though is - who will underwrite the share issue? in order for any share issue someone has to underwrite it. Banks could do this if they feel sure that the either the issue will be oversubscribed or if the shares on offer are of good long term value. And the banks charge plenty for doing so. In our past the Murray group has always underwritten the share issue, so no problems there. Im guessing Charles Green doesnt have 30 million to underwrite the issue and im also guessing he doesnt have the backers who will committ this level of funding either, so the question is what exactly is he playing at? sooner the blue knights get a hold of our assetts the better, this clown is talking through an almighty hole in his arse.
  3. the 'core' tax bill is £24 million. the rest is made up of fines and compound interest backdated by 10 years,
  4. cant believe the space devoted to this shite in tomorrows sunday mail - 5 pages of drivel. Craven has shat big time on Dallas and McDonald. Feck sake it wisney a penalty - get over it! Heis claiming victimisation bullying the lot, there must be a compensation claim in there somewhere! sorry, i dont have the skill, hardware or indeed inclination to scan some of it. Phone ins will be interesting this week! *can someone move this to the general sports talk - Ive started in the wrong place!!* (dafty)
  5. I can just see it happening. We dont sell a player and the scum do. But all the headlines of a team selling prize assetts to balance books are reserved for us. Media whores!
  6. What issues were those? as i remember from the time ( a while back mind!) I think the problems were in his back. I seem to remember some doubts being expressed on issues resulting from his back problems - which can be many as it affects how you run and balance distribution etc. Thanks. Interesting. I'd not heard that before. found this http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn41...s_/ai_n12586312 I'm sure it was brought up in his medical but as I say O'Neill wanted him as long as he had a pulse!!

  8. on the most impeccible of sources - Hartson actually failed his medical at celtic too, on a few diffrent issues. Oneill wanted him so badly that he was "passed" in spite of his medical problems.
  9. surely its not so much the 'fenian' that got it banned but the 'up to your knees in fenian blood' that done it.
  10. let no man pull you low enough to hate him Martin Luther King Jnr
  11. I too like the fighting talk of this, but the RST is an official body of Rangers Supporters and this wording is amatureish at best and damaging at worst. I'm not sure the official Irish consulate will warm to being labelled "..appologists for sectarian murder.." the two governments have for many years worked hard together during the troubles. Now I know the trust are not reffering directly to them, but to the mopes in general but the wording leaves it open to interpretation. As I say - amatureish at best but this could be damaging.
  12. hes spent £30m but remember hes taken £17m back with only 2 players. his net spend isnt a lot and he started with a poor squad that needed an overhaul so £13m isnt really a lot.
