Managed to scrape the win but having scored 16 goals against hibs in 3 previous games expected a better result. The team has dropped 7 points in their last 4 league games before today. I'm not convinced in the manager.

My point was simply that Koeman wasn't a permanent defender. Derek Johnstone played forward, midfield and defence and scored more than 200 goals. I'm not for one minute claiming Tav is anywhere near Koeman's tally. Tav's goal record is purely at club level whereas the likes of Ramos and the rest have international goals added. Outstanding no matter how we compare him.

About half a dozen players guilty of encroachment. The Hibs player (5th player in from the right) is by far the worst as he is about a yard in front of the D at that point. VAR clearly forgot that encroaching in the D is an offence.

If the Club has been forced into this by contractual terms then we should be told. There should also be a clause inserted that if we have to concede seats then the reciprocal agreement should be for unobstructed seating at their tip. I'm not being negative about Thursday. Proud of the team for getting that far and over 2 legs we lost out to a bad penalty call, a careless OG and a tight VAR call. Injuries are out of our control but the problem is the quality of players like Matondo, Dessers, Wright, etc coming in. Tav, Goldson and Lundstram don't look shattered to me. I thought Tav had his best game in ages on Thursday.

If we had won on Thursday nobody would be talking about players being "shattered". We need the break to try to get injured players back up to speed though.
