If any club can develop youngsters its Barcelona .

I think cescs fitness has been a factor in recent seasons . Also being a younger player forcing his way in to a more experienced starting eleven was always going to be difficult when the team continues to win . But the form he's been in this season performing in that more advanced role makes it much harder to overlook him imo . Add to that that he's playing in Spain which I think will make it even harder to leave him out . Great options to have though .

I honestly think he could play that role even better than xavi . He can play the tight 5 - 10 yard one/twos and keep posession but his ability to play eye of the needle defence splitting passes is greater than xavis , infact its as good as anyone's in world football imo . He's just incredible .

His passing is underrated imo . The ammount of assists he has in a season is incredible .

I think you're overlooking cesc here . If he continues in this vain of form for the remainder of the season I see him being a starter and hugely influencial for Spain in the summer . That said , I still fancy the Germans to win it as long as Gomes stays fit . The one position they are weak imo is the centre forward position . Their attacking options from midfield are brilliant .
