  1. Never caught one at Ibrox but did catch one down at the newcastle tournament in 2004, Alex Rae hit a shot that went well over the bar i caught it and stuffed it up my Rangers top, after the game had a wee kick-about in a boozer near the park bar staff were not happy so had to continue outside. Had that ball up to 4/5 year back my son took it for a kick about with his pals and lost it.
  2. Bo'ness also a good Rangers stronghold, Grangemouth have a big Gers support, sadly the massive club is now shut. Linlithgow have started a bus up this year but still a jambo town, Armadale is as True Blue as it gets.
  3. Wembley - x4 2x FA Cup Finals 98 and 2015, 2x Scotland v England 79 and 81 Highbury - x6 97 Winterburn testimonial, 5 various Arsenal league games Emerates - x8 Emirates tournament 2009 the rest league games White Hart Lane - Paul Miller testimonial 86 Fulham - 2004 Missed my bus home Chelsea - 1991 v Liverpool, Souness's 1st game in charge Everton - 97 testimonial was arrested heading down to bus at midnight for nowt Liverpool - 85 v Chelsea, Scotland were in Australia so no game for Rangers, seemed to be a couple of thousand Rangers fans in the chelsea end(i was in the Kop) Newcastle - x 20 odd, Rangers for a tournament and the rest league games Sunderland Old & New x2 Blackpool - x 4 1 v Rangers Ipswich - Friendly v Rangers Derby - x 2 v Rangers Bradford v Rangers Burnley - x 2 v Arsenal Wigan - x 4 Hartlepool - x 6 Man Utd - x 3 Bolton - x 1 Blackburn - x1 Sheff Wed - x 1 Linfield - x 2 Red Star Belgrade 90 Bayern Munich - Olympic Stadium 99 Dortmund - 95 and 99 PSG - Think it was Advocatt's last game in charge ! Brugge Lyngby A few down England not so much abroad, Favorite abroad Red Star, massive crowd that night and a crazy home support, although Dortmund must be a close 2nd, My fav down England was the old Wembley stadium fantastic atmosphere, first time there was 79 Scotland v England 100,000 (and the rest),the guys with tickets were handing their stubs back outside and thousands more got in for nothing, guys inside tying scarfs together dropping them from a fair height to anyone who fancied being pulled up 40/50 feet into the stadium it;s a wonder no one was injured or even killed. Lost my mate at half time never seen him until late at night just before the train left kings x (the days before mobile phones). That was the good days before the tartan trannys took over.

  8. Spurs in 86 for me, great weekend in london followed closely by Sheffield, the locals at tottenham were not as friendly as the sheffield punters,at the spurs game we got off the underground at the seven sisters and there was fights kicking off all the way up to white hart lane also remember a massive crush trying to get in, once in the ground fighting broke out at the corner dividing the fans the Bears were in great voice that day, the fri/sat nights were magic. Sheffield was a day trip but by fuck what a day it was, down with Polmont/Bo'ness joint bus 80 odd seater if you were over 6 foot you were fucked nae leg room, we were booked into a club no far from hillsborough the locals couldn't be nicer, after the game the locals were all wanting to shake your hands swap tops/scarfs and even buy you drink back in the club. Took my son down to the Ted Mcmin testimonial another day trip, having a drink under the stands before the game and my sons pal came running down to tell me my son was on the park, the derby mascot had picked him from the young ones to take penalty's into him. Highbury/Everton and Sunderland were also great day trips although everton turned into a 2 day as me and my mate got lifted heading down to our bus outside the provincial for fuck all, we got kicked out the cells at half 5 next morning then made our way to blackpool got pissed and caught the last train to edinburgh, wife was not happy. Emirates was another great weekend in london, down in the train stayed in the premier inn at kings X. Derby at the start of this season didn't quite match sheffield, Bradford was a good day with the nithsdale bus, fulham was a great day untill we missed our bus home got a taxi over to kings X but the last train was gone, slept at the entrance to the station wrapped in an ulster flag, cost me 94 quid to get home, again wife not amused.
  9. Cheers mate, we are still waiting on word back from 2 other buses, we will get a train if we cant get on a bus.
  10. Hi mate, is there any seats on your bus, 4 maybe 5 of us from Bo'ness, most of the guys from the local bus booked up on flights early doors hence no bus, tried the Polmont Loyal but bus is full.
  11. Any buses in the west lothian fife falkirk or edinburgh area with 4 seats PM me.
  12. Former MP Tam Dalyell a teacher at Bo'ness Academy when Dennis was a pupil spotted his potential, Dennis was the first Bo'ness schoolboy to be capped for Scotland and helped them win the victory cup in 1961, Dennis joined Rangers straight from school later that year. Dennis went on to play 15 first team games for Rangers scoring 6 goals including a goal v Glentoran in the 1st rd 2nd leg ECWC tie at Ibrox 66/67 season.
  13. Remember Sandy scoring a goal at parkhead in a 3-1 win (glasgow cup ?) a couple of weeks before the 76/77 season kicked off, it was similar to the goal he scored at hampden in the 79 dryburgh cup (Davie Cooper goal) a mazy run beat 2 or 3 then a great finish into the bottom corner. Also joining Sandy on the march to hampden. TRUE BLUE LEGEND.
