Probably being too simplistic here, but if JD thinks £2m is about right for what they might need to pay, and we have only played a small part in it, will we not be looking at significantly less (assuming we are even found guilty of any wrongdoing). I'd take the chance of winning the Europa every time. Even if we don't win it, getting to the final is already a bigger achievement than a league win is for us or them.
