Van Veen finishes 2 or 3 of our chances tonight. Cant wait until Morelos and Sakala are away from the starting 11.

If we could offload Roofe then we would but you're right nobody is taking him. At best a loan spell and we cover half the wages. If Roofe stays then he will br injured 75% of the time so you'd really need another 3 strikers. He may be coming up 32 but he's scored 23 goals with another 5 games left. We've not had a striker do that since Boyd.

Why take Duk over Van Veen. What's the difference?

So you'd rather have an injured Roofe or Colak up front as a 2nd striker than Van Veen? As mentioned in my first post, he wouldn't be the 1st striker. We will hopefully buy a decent striker but VV would be a great addition compared to what we've currently got.

23 goals this season and has scored against both the old firm. Why haven't our strikers grabbed more? It's a no brainer.

This Van Veen seems to be racking up the goals for Motherwell. Surely he would finish a few more for us? Not a first team starter but play him as 2 with somebody else?

Beale is right saying yesterday Morelos is doing fine but not the player of before. 2019 is 4 years ago. He had spells during 55 and Europa but not consistently. Unfortunately, his time has come to an end. Only his attitude has prevented him from kicking on with us. Under Gerrard and GVB.

I thought Souttar did fine outwith the obvious mistake. His first 90 minutes since August and in the trickiest of games.

On the positive side, Souttar can play a ball and is comfortable in possession. Its fitness. Get to 70 mins then put Lundstrum in a back 3.

Honest post as always.... This team get you excited with a run of form but always let you down for the big games. More times than not anyway. With the way Beale keeps talking about big changes in the Summer and he cant make them until the games are finished, i can see another big disappointment. Especially if we lose a goal early on. It'll be 3-0 or 3-1. My hope is Beale gets a win like Walter did when he returned (Ehiogu's overhead kick) and it sets up for next season. But my gut feeling is this team will let us down once again. It's happened far too many times. I cant wait for the Summer.
