you wouldn't mess with big Harold reading stories about him i dont know if this is true but when i was in the townhead supporters bus there was a great character called stevie who tells a story of slim jim showboating in a european game at Ibrox and not playing the simple pass, at half time big Harold got Baxter by the shirt pinned against the wall more or less telling him not to do it again.  i dont know if this story was true but if it was epitomises big harold.

Bobby Bolt started with Heart of Midlothian making his debut against Hibernian at Tynecastle in September 1933 and scoring in his only other Jambos appearance in a friendly at Montrose in August 1934, before joining Falkirk in the mid 1930’s. He moved to America to play in the American Soccer League in 1938 before returning to Scotland to join Rangers, where he made 5 appearances during 1939-40. After the Second World War he played 21 times for Third Lanark in 1946-47 before re-joining Falkirk, where he played until the 1950’s, also playing for Inverness Caledonian Thistle. His son Bobby Bolt Jr also later played for Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
He made 79 appearances in total but unfortunately  Germany invaded  Poland the day before  his fifth game for us.

He may have wanted to give Macari a kiss ( hopefully a Glasgow one )He didn't like Aitken though.

Great picture and all played for the famous 

He was   sitting next to us at the lights at Mount Vernon after the scum beat us on penalties  in the  Drybrough Cup    and     we didn't know who   scored the first goal in normal play   , they scored first  . so the sweep for first goal scorer    hadn't been paid out  , Greig's window     was down so the bus convener  opened the bus door and shouted " John who scored celtic's   first goal"?     and got a   terse reply "What the fuck does that matter"?
