That was the general consensus and widely reported (£7m plus addons equating to at least £9m you would imagine) - and why not, they can afford it on potential, which was my point What did Everton pay for Nathan Patterson on potential - if we paid £10m or so for him as essentailly a backup to Tav or as our new first choice right back, everyone would be going crazy.

Problem is how young - these teams are now paying millions on potential and/or giving young boys a shit load in wages, which we just can't afford / take the risk on.
