On the Collum red card issue. I’ve always assumed his linesman shouted down the radio that he thought it was a penalty and Collum just trusted it.

I had this lingering fear that we’d pay the money for him.

I feel like I would enjoy Dunc in the short term but I have this feeling he’s not a long term solution. He’ll deal with any slouches but I can’t imagine a long term strategy on the pitch under him. I honestly don’t even know what the sure fire solution is to this. Any bigger name would need to be certain of being given the champions league money for transfers and any smaller name is a risk.

I've always been a pessimistic gimp and assume the worst will happen. I see the performances in Europe and multiple times I've got an adrenaline rush of confidence that we'll take it into the league and then felt flat at the weekend. We'll sink or swim as a team in the league with our ability to "continue" the european performances into the domestic matches at the weekends. The concern I always have is "aye but watch us fuck it at the weekend now!" If we are over that barrier then the league will look after itself.

A couple of times I've wrote him off and every time he comes back on top. Just need him to replicate it in the league for this run in. One last push from the big man
