Tav has always been a bit of an enigma, but the good far outweighs the bad and he is still an automatic choice in my eyes.

I won't be happy with a draw, but if that is the outcome I would somehow be satisfied. A defeat is out of the question, we must get a result and hopefully John Beaton can help make the difference,

No one, with a few exceptions, likes the International breaks, but the way it is with seemingly random breaks is the only way it can be done. Like it or lump it we are firmly stuck with it, there are no real alternative options.

Like everyone else my gut reaction from yesterday was doom and gloom, but looking ahead to Tuesday I'm hopeful that St Mirren can do us a favour. That mob are not all that good and can be vulnerable should they take their eye off the ball. Once we take care of Kilmarnock and they slip up it could be right back in the melting pot. There is still a long way to go.

Admittedly I do get a bit paranoid myself, in fact even my psychiatrist say I'm paranoid, but I don't take any notice of him as that Bastard has always had it in for me.

We might not be accepting mediocrity lying down, but we are being dished it up on a regular basis. Since Clemente arrived we have gotten a great run of results, but lets not ignore the facts that we have been pretty underwhelming in some of those game, Cup final included, and not won them convincingly enough. Beale left us in a terrible mess and Clemente cannot make a silk purse out of a sows ear, and the fact remains that they do have better players than we do in most cases. it is going to be an uphill struggle from now until the end of the season as a relatively poor East end mob continue to just do enough to stay in front of us. It is going to be the Summer transfer window before Phil can do anything worthwhile to reduce the gap and I can only hope the board give him the backing then that he needs.

The game isn't lost yet, yet the comments are all totally negative. We can still win it, but granted. the football we are playing is uninspiring and desttroys hope for the remaining fixtures.
