  1. Lincoln Red Imps and Copenhagen are a comparable benchmark right enough. Both beat the taigs.
  2. Plzen were in the Quarter finals of the Conference the season before, Hearts looked shite but so did they. A shite Hearts actually looked in control for big stretches away in the first leg. The reality is neither of those teams will pick up many coefficient points in the Europa, but both should be a good team in the Conference and at least make the knockouts (no doubt Hearts will implode). Do feel what the nation needs, and historically we've lacked, is a team like Hearts or Aberdeen to have regular group stage football where the money would be significant and they can grow to compete against these teams outside the top leagues. Kilmarnock shat the bed against the Belguims when there wasnt much between them. They were there for the taking and would of given them a much easier tie in the Conference playoffs. Bit unfortunate against Copenhagen, who they made look shit in the second leg, with the first leg apparently being a snorefest outside of a couple of lucky goals. Think Hearts drew them and imagine theyd be content with that draw.
  3. Looks a tough draw for hearts. Should make knockouts but no doubt will continue imploding.
  4. One of them was playing red imps to qualify, the other some complete unknown team. Is good the diddy leagues have a chance of qualifying with the champions path mind you.Wonder what impact semi regular group stages for the champions will have on those lesser leagues, will be an astronomical amount of money for them.
  5. Plzen wernt particularly good over the tie, hearts just worse. What an implosion that lot are having. Conference for hearts is better either way. Chance to contribute to the coefficient, couldn't see them winning much in the europa. Imagine they'll make more money in the conference.
  6. Good start killie. Long shot but hopefully Killie can do something. This Copenhagen team looked shit last week.
  7. This new format makes the CL draws look very weak. Taigs no doubt will struggle to a single flukey win and embarress the nation once again, despite having an insanely easy draw.
  8. They are filthy unwashed junkie taigs. But I doubt the media inflates values, would be amazed if a club that is a states play thing, with probably the best scouting network in the world cares about the media. If it did happen its more a case of English transfer inflation. Doubt it would happen, and even if it did don't care. What are the unwashed going to do, add a new sound system to their disco lights that will never be seen past a European group stage?
  9. Realistically Hearts losing is the most help for the coefficient. They played pretty well and reckon they'd fancy their chances against most in the conference, should have a good chance of knockouts. Wouldn't be surprised if they went through in Europa though, didnt look much between the two teams. That'd be shit for the coefficient as reckon they'll struggle in most games in the Europa if they made it there. Copenhagen made it out the CL groups last season so expected theyll go through. Apparently a pretty shit game from both teams. Paying the price for not pumping that Belgium team when they had the chance in the Europa, that Krakow team they got are atrocious.
