Probably won't cost them anymore than the compensation they payed Queen's Park for Andy Robertson and Aiden Connolly. It's never done till its done, but if Dundee United are at the stage of offering a fee they must be confident its a done deal.
By the end he probably didn't want to stay, but does that fact not set alarm bells ringing. That is three highly rated youth players in three years that would prefer to play somewhere else. Irrespective of what they do in the future all three were considered among the best prospects in the country at the time. The question is who will it be next year ? Until the current regime and style changes there will be others believe me.
I am ready to listen to anyone that can demonstrate Sinky's ability to develop youth players, either before he came to Rangers or while he has been here.
Believe what you like. I am confident what I was told is true, Rangers "forgot" his contract was up. I think lack of opportunity, broken promises and style of football he has been asked to play are the reasons. Others would follow if they could.
This is pretty much how I understand it apart from the middle sentence. Don't worry Sinky will bring in someone who can kick it harder, higher and further than Charlie.
Pretty much a done deal from what I have heard, now just compensation to be agreed. Should be around 65k, if he went outwith Scotland it would be around 360,000 euros. Apparently Rangers "forgot" his contract was up, we are a fecking shambles.
Embarrasing - Dunfermline fielded FIVE players that played in youth cup tie against Rangers earlier in the season, another player would have played in that youth game but was injured. The lineup also included 36yo Craig Dargo who has been a bit part player this season and youth coach 34yo John Potter who hasn't played at all this season. Meanwhile promising youth players at Rangers see their future elsewhere, watch this space........
