  1. Good work with Photoshop McBoyd you had me fooled for a second or two. The fox ran the length of the Bill Struth Stand early in the first half. Sandaza didn't come on until well into the second
  2. Just been emailed by jjb. Two tops dispatched and due to arrive tomorrow. Cheers again to the OP for the tip. Asked earlier but no reply - anyone know why they're selling for twenty notes so soon?
  3. Ordered two last night. Thanks for the tip. Is this a pricing error we are benefitting from or is there another reason it's so cheap? Seems very harsh on the bears who bought them at full price only a few weeks ago.
  4. For once we must be united and tell Mr Green thanks but no thanks
  5. Right now a wee bit of encouragement for him to sell on to the Walter smith consortium would be more constructive than siimply telling the guy who now owns the club to fuck off
  6. All it means is that the Green consortium has bought the club under the terms of the agreement reached with Duff and Phelps. There would be nothing to stop him selling the club on with a small profit to cover his input whatever that amounts to. If its made clear to Green that he doesn't have the support of the fans in spirit and finances via season ticket sales then I believe his will be minded to sell on
  7. and I bet you weren't lifted over the turnstile
  8. Try Derek Johnstone : own goal v Brazil in a Hampden friendly. I think he put the ball in the net behind the girvan lighthouse. SCOTLAND: McCloy(Rangers), Jardine(Rangers), McGrain(Celtic), Bremner W(Leeds United), Holton(Manchester United), Johnstone D(Rangers), Morgan(Manchester United), Hay(Celtic), Parlane(Rangers), Jordan(Leeds United), Dalglish(Celtic). Sub: Graham G(Manchester United) for Johnstone D[69] BRAZIL: Leao (Palmeiras), Ze Maria (Corinthians), Luis Pereira (Palmeiras), Piazza (Cruzeiro), Marco Antonio (Fluminense), Clodoaldo (Santos), Rivellino (Corinthians), Valdomiro (Internacional), Jairzinho (Botafogo), Paulo Cesar Caju (Flamengo), Dirceu (Botafogo). Scorer: Johnstone D(og)
  9. Take a chill pill man! I said I wasn't defending it - just thought it might spark a few memories of the old dark and dank past.
  10. "brears - that's what they used to call bears back then" - abe simpson
  11. Not defending the delayed transmission but it was a fact of life back then. There was very little live club football at all. Many of the older brears will remember that you didn't even get the Scottish Cup final shown live. If I remember correctly it wasn't until about 1977 until that game was broadcast live.
  12. That was a training top BTW you know what this means? Big Lee is staying - they wouldn't get a player who's moving on to model the new strip - would they?
  13. If you stayed up all night to think of that - it was worth it. Cracker!!
  14. If you check the JJB Sports Website it lists all the new kit launches. Apparently the away kit gets launched at a date to be confirmed in August, with a 3rd kit a month later
  15. I don't know who designs these strips nowadays. Obviously someone who spent too much time reading Roy of the Rovers. The last two home kits must have been put together by a design team who had the brief of selecting from the range of umbro flashes and logos and ended up putting all of them on the one shirt. The training tops are much better especially as they don't have the cheap Carling transfer slapped on the front.
  16. Good for You. Just be careful how much info you give away considering you've just admitted to deleting a few files, though! :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy:
  17. More confused than I was before I started this thread!! Think its going to be an early alarm!! As long as the hotel lets me park up then I'll be happy.
  18. Good shout. Heard the Fanzones are opening early anyway. I suppose the hotel would let us check-in as long as we don't expect entry into our room.
  19. Hope you don't overtake me - Means I'm f*cked as I'll probably leave at 5am
  20. Very good MuffGer. Problem is we only have a room for Wednesday night. Think my Ys will be welded to me by then!
  21. I'm planning to drive down to Manchester but I can't decide what time would be the best to leave. I'm picking up two mates (pioss. 4) fairly close to the M74 at Carmyle but we can't decisde what is a good time to leave. On one hand, don't want to be pissing about waiting to get into our hotel room, on the other don't want to miss out on all the fun. What do you think?
  22. Just heard on Clyde that the SFA are about to intervene in the fixtures pile-up row by allowing the Scottish Cup Final to be postponed until the following Wednesday. While I wholeheartedly agree that something has to be done, it is ridiculous that the SFA have to consider postponing their showpiece game to cover for the spineless SPL management. The whole purpose of the SPL is to organise a league and provide a competetion whose main prize is entry to the premier European tournaments. Now that one of its members reaches a final, they do nothing to resolve a relatively simple issue. As for Celtic, they wouldn't know the meaning of "sporting integrity" if it bit them on the backside - They, after all, were the club that used the tragic death of Phil O'Donnell as nothing more than an opportunity to postpone the New Year old firm game when they were on the rack. Shame on you. The only people I feel sorry for are any fans who had pre-booked transport and accomodation to the final and to Queen of the South. Absolute disgrace that the only possible solution is to turn on a first division side for the answer. Shame on you, SPL - Rot in Hell!!
  23. Was in my local last night - couldn't believe how many tims had come down hoping that we were going to get humped - nae luck timmy!! Well done Watty, Ally, Kenny and the Teddy Bears
