  1. Boab! You want to tell us now that Naismith is quiet?
  2. Was gonna say - last time we played Hearts he gave their left back a roasting - now he is out of the squad completely? I hope he is injured - otherwise Wallie can GTF!
  3. Unfortunately there will be some on here who are Scottish but support England Thats just the make up of our support unfortunately As for me - Scottish and Scotand all the way
  4. God loves a trier and Nacho is a trier, go on the wee man! He actually reminds me of Sebo - little ability, touch of an elephant - but an honest trier
  5. Yeah - only 9 internationals in there Mods? Celtic Alert
  6. I would suggest playing a fluid formation with attacking plaers with pace that will stretch the opposition across the field Burke and naismith and Buffel - the Greeks would have to acknowledge the two wide men because of their pace and ability - thus this would stretch the field and allow the likes of buffel/barry top stream through the middle make the opposition adjust to what we can do - not the other way around Dictate the way the game is played Im sick fed up of my team being the most negative on the bleeping planet - we actually have some talent at the club But at the moment we are like a young guy who has just bought a bunch of expensive tools - and has not a clue how to use them OK Bauba, settle down. That's twice in 5 minutes I've agreed with you now. This can't go on. Sorry mate - don't know what came over me I thik ive got a case of reasonableness! Ill take a pill and start annoying you in a jiffy lol

  8. In my mind, it comes down primarily to team selection - we could cause so many problems - 4-5-1 can be a really attacking formation - if you pick mobile and skillfull players as your front 3 We have players like Cousin, Naismith, Buffel, Gow, Burke - who could all settle in those spots we do that, then that formation could be really effective - like it was when Hibs couldnt get the ball off us But no - Boyd, who tries but cant cut it and offeres nothing off the ball Nacho - very very short of ability, tries liek buggery but lacks any semblance of class Adam - ive seen statues move quicker I have no idea why Walter persists with these players in games like this - basically, we are fodder for average European teams Maybe the modern game has passed Walter by, the modern game is about movement, flexibility in formations, pace, skill Walter?
  9. OOH, Boyds winning a few headers - forgive me if I dont cum in my pants Well, seems that people are caught up on his inability to do so. Read back a bit. winning flick ons is immaterial if you dont have runners getting beyond him so whoever is pumping these balls up front is at fault Plus, if we had a fwd player with better off the ball movement - who showed for the ball carrier - we would not need to hump long balls up to an isolated striker Like when Cousin was in there
  10. OOH, Boyds winning a few headers - forgive me if I dont cum in my pants
  11. Funny, I could have sworn they were in the SPL the last I looked - now if I had said "Scottish team" then you would have had a point
  12. Well, have to say it Not ging to lose sleep either way - but I will be pulling for the SPL side tonight
  13. Actually, a month ago I would have agreed with you but right now it is a no brainer that they have a better side than us and one better suited to Europe They have to attack tonight - it would be foolish not to - all their eggs are in that basket, if they sit back, they will get destroyed - it they go at Barca, I can see them really worrying them
  14. Thats been my thinking also - but it is crucial that you pick mobile and creative players for the attacking midfielder roles. It works with naismith and burke and does not when you pick Adam and McCulloch I actually think it is a more attacking formation than 4-4-2 as when e play that formation the front 2 seem to get isolated quite often
  15. All i can say is thank Fcuk you aint our manager.... cause if u think we were being too attacking we'd need to think of a new name for Anti-Football! I reckon I'd do much better than the "Attack! Attack! Attack! " proponents, who would leave us exposed. shows the faith you have got in our defence. Defence is 11 players - if you look at the top sides in the world, even the Barcas and madrids - most play with 1 directly up top with players supporting from deeper
  16. Ah, a revisionist - I like you guys Really never said it was ALL his fault - but he conceded 2 goals from mistakes which in all probability cost us 2 points
  17. in a way, though in both games mcGregor made mistakes that cost us
  18. playing my forst Gers game with 8.2 patch Sold all the dross but in first week McGregor and naismith broke their legs - signed Connobio (spelling?) and Brian Mclean and playing a 4-2-3-1 formation Alexander in goals Whittaker, Papac, McLean and Cueller in defence Thomson and barry in midfield Fleck, Connobio and Burke in Am roles and Darcheville up front Flecks been a revelation playing on the left, improving by the game - unfortunately Ive pretty much lost the league but just picked up Enyeama and Nicolae to hopefully round out the team Big story was the Champions League - was in a group with Werder bremen, Lyon and Real Madrid Came to last 2 games with 3 points and faced Lyon away and Bremen at home - had to win both Lyon hammered us 29-7 on SOG (exact same stat as the 3-0 game this year) but down 2-1 in injury time Fleck scored a hallatious solo goal with a run from halfway and then next minute Darche breaks through to make it 3-2! bedlam So we have to beat bremen at home with an injury crisis - But Darche scores 2 quick goals and we fend off a comeback and Cousin scores a last minute clincher for 3-1 despite being outshot 28-12.
  19. I think he is fine Still just a kid really, 21 years of age - a very good player in the making, but right now he is at Rangers, not Killie, where you can get awasy with 25 good games a season, because expectations are less. At Rangers, we demand performances every week, so right now we are playing him a little and working on him so that by the time he is 23 or so then we will see the big difference. Hope it works out that way because I rate the wee guy
  20. Broadfoot is better on the deck, can run better, is a better athlete - has better positional sense. Flippin hell - makes you wonder sometimes what some folk are watching
  21. Understatement of the year Worst player to play for us in my lifetime - and I lived through the early to mid 80s Clearly he never went to any games back then. Every week I saw Gregor Stevens - and would rather have him in my team than Andrews
