still maybe in upcoming weeks? did he play in any of the pre-season fixtures, i didn't hear of him against Chelsea or Ajax He played against Falkirk and did not impress. On the other hand he played the second half of the game against L.A. Galaxy at the end of last season and looked really good. TBH Darcheville impressed in none of the friendlies and yet is still in the starting 11

TBH i think prices in games like Zeta should be cheaper just so we can fill the place up and make it as good an atmosphere as possible but oh well i live in Plymouth so travelling 600miles to see the Gers play is kind of impractical still do my best to see them on the odd occasion though same man! i live up at the top of scotland..costs me and my dad about £500/600 just to go to a game, due to ferrry costs etc.. only get to 4 or 5 games a season.. hopefully to get a few more this season with my dad working offshore fair play to you it's a fair bit cheaper for us to get to a game because of flights etc. but its a long way when you can wotch CL games on the beeb for free still would love to have a ticket for one of the big European nights, hopefully if we make the group stages we'll get a BOB draw and beat some of the premiership sides that have decided they are untouchable by anyone other than AC Milan etc.

Gow/Boyd for me would prefer Gow/Darcheville with Novo just sitting behind the two to make a lot of attacking runs so as to threaten the defenders a little

TBH we beat Partizan quite comfortably with our reserves a while back, no disrespect to Red Star but i think Scottish football is slightly higher rated than Serbian, i would expect an intimidating atmosphere at the Marakana, and we probably won't win our leg there but wait until you come to Ibrox, then you can get your top 10 intimidating crowds and shove it 22,000 for a CL home match? Our reserves could pull more than that

Does anyone else think Alan Gow should be given a start ahead of Boyd just to see what he can do? Everyone seems to have forgotten about him but he scored quite a few for Falkirk last season and would be good to see if he can cement a 1st team place. If hes pish he could always be taken off at half-time and let Boyd come on to score another tap in and then do nothing for 45minutes. Thoughts?

I think Boyd has to be dropped after his collection of howlers against Zeta, Team should be IMO: McGregor Webster Weir Cuellar Broadfoot Novo Bazza Thomson Beasley Darche-vader Gow Subs: Boyd, Papac, Carrol, McCulloch, Sebo Think Alan Gow should be given a chance to show us what he has got, bring on Boyd at half time if it's still goaless and Sebo on for last 15minutes just to see if he can conjure up something

personally i believe Webster is a good solid player who will spruce up the defense a bit
