  1. When we came up against Porto Inter and Artmedia there was pressure on us to qualify and we nearly bottled it. Porto are a team that aren't what they were, and Artmedia obviously couldn't hump us after all the pelters we had given the Celts. In all of those games it felt edgy because we felt like we should be qualifying. This time though, we are a real dark horse. Out of all the teams in our group, we are the only one not to have dropped points in the league this season. As underdogs we can play with no pressure, nobody in their right mind expects us to qualify, and thats a huge advantage because historically we are SHITE under pressure. Well thats my logic for ya
  2. couldn't be asked to put them all down :classier_than_pipeguy: anyways Eto'o's injured for months, Deco can't get a game. Messi is obviously class but VERY inconsistent Eto'o is injured for months?? He played last week. Whats happened to him? said on rangers.co.uk that he is out for at least 2 months

  4. Barcelona, obviously a huge team, Champions league heavyweights and IMO the best team in Europe atm. Rijkaarrd has a good squad of players who all back him, and a good start to la liga after they drew away from home to Racing 0-0 Dangermen: Ronaldinho (who may be off to chelsea if you believe the papers) Henry: Finisher who if starts well in la liga will be lethal and we all know how he carried arsenal for years Puyol: Captain, leader and will get stuck in, will be hard to break down Lyon, after a poor start to the season which sees them mid-table, Perrin will be hoping to turn things around. However, he is not a manager of great talanet, and is under pressure to get the 7th league title in a row for Lyon. May get sacked if he doesn't achieve this so may not be as strong in the CL as predicted. Also they sold a lot of their best players over the summer and will be missing their captain for the tie against the gers Dangermen: Fred, awesome finished, big lad, power pace hard shot, hes got it all. Has came under stick from a few Lyon fans this season because of a lazy attitude (Boydy anyone ) Stuttgart, a win a loss and a draw to start the season. A good squad who rode their luck a bit to win the bundesliga last season. TBH they only really won it because of the disappearance of Bayern Munich and co. Big players in Basturk, Everthon but hardly any names that make you wan't to hide behind the couch. Dangermen: Basturk, lit alight the 2002 world cup for Turkey, will give Thomson and Hemdani a hard time to stop his attacking play. But really a team we should be looking to grab points off
  5. yup and also had the manks gone out, we would be in pot 3 avoiding lazio etc. wish artmedia were still in the draw That just makes it all the more annoying!! :angry2: pardon my french but exactement!

  10. oh well lets see how hostile an environment they give to Racing de Andorra etc.
  11. Taken off the beeb Kosanovic says best team went out Red Star Belgrade coach Milorad Kosanovic thought the best team had been eliminated after the Champions League qualifier against Rangers. "We were unlucky not to go into the group stage of the Champions League, as we've shown in these two matches that we are better than Rangers," he said. "Rangers used their enormous experience to stop our forwards. "They were on the brink of conceding a goal at some stages, but they stayed calm and prevented us scoring." Rangers left Belgrade with a goalless draw to add to the goal scored by Nacho Novo in the first leg in Glasgow. "When you miss chances like we did in the first half, and when your only mistake, in the 90th minute of the first leg costs you a goal then you have to accept that you are out," added Kosanovic. "In modern football, at this level, details decide matches. "Still, I think my team gave their best in both games, maybe even played better then they can usually, but that wasn't enough to go through." you'd think he would have gone and crawled under a rock by now?
  12. One of few teams to have already played 4 games in the Champions League and not conceded. Okay not great teams but still
  13. serves the bazzas rite for pinching faubert he got injured in training for 6 months :L shows what happens to you when u dont join rangers
  14. JCD has impressed, Papac needs to shut off the amount of crosses coming in from the right wing
  15. McGregor 8 Hutton 5 Weir 6.5 Papac 6 Whittiaker 6 Hemdani 6 Thomson 6.5 Cuellar 7 McCulloch 6 Ferguson 7 Darcheville 6.5
  16. I know we played in our 3rd kit recently, have to say it looked quite nice. Compared to some of the DISGUSTING 3rd kits we've had in recent years, this one looks alrite actually and would consider buying it. Also away kit is nicer than last years, Umbro are getting their act together...finally. Thoughts?
  17. Was sitting in the 2nd tier of the Govan, my first Gers match in about 4 years due to living in Plymouth, have to say Cousin changed the match and looked a cracking player, everyone who is saying Novo should start doesn't realise he's good as a sub because he runs against fatigued defenders who can't cope. Was brilliant for the wee man to score though against Red Star, after all THERES ONLY ONE NACHO NOVO
  18. WATP indeed thefish, but it doesn't have a lot to do with Celtic against Falkirk
  19. Im 15 and mine would be Laudrup THE DADO The Goalie Bazza Hammer Ricksen Caniggia Gascgoine Charbonnier(looked brilliant before collision with the post) Arteta
  20. type in pplive on google then after you've downloaded it go onto google and type in "asia plate" there should be one with sports streaming 10minutes before the match look and rangers vs st mirren should be there BTW pplive runs off your windows media player so to open it open up WMP and use it from there
  21. WGS must be sh*tting it ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
  22. lets not slate Murray, we lost money last year because we only got 400k from UEFA cup money, yet we've still splashed the cash on a good 8 or so players Big Eck got that much in about 3 years so yno lets just be content, the academy is beginning to produce some young talent which will mean in 5 years time we won't be needing to spend money pinching players from Hibs etc. BTW Fleck looks like a fantastic player, saw some of his goals hes scored on youtube, best young prospect we've have in a long time
