my grandfather told me about this final ,told me it was his first winning he saw and he was in his 40,s he was too young in the early days then he waited 25 year to see it ,in the first w,w, he said appart from his family all he wanted to see his team lift the cup and he did ,first took me to see east fife final  it was my first and i dont forget it.

anyone remember playing at bella park  3 pitches and one cold tap no lighting in the changing rooms ,if you were brave it was rap a towel round you and sick your legs under the tap the rest of had to wait till you got home ,i think the last time i played there it was 1960 and the place was still the same .sounds like the sketch from ,,monty python,,

I did a bit of research , you're spot on,   it's from a game against Raith Rovers in 1956/57 season,   we won 3-1 , Morrison (10), Scott (26) and Simpson (53), the opposition player is Raith's    Andy Leigh.

was that the game in1966? remember j.b was marvelous that night..

remember that game it was g. young last n/y game and he went out with a victory.
