Not to mention the renegotiation of the Sky deal would probably half their £600,000 per year TV deal, meaning they would lose another £300,000. Lets do the math, £550,000 - (£315,000 + £300,000) = -£65,000! There we have a pretty simple way of looking at things.

Steven Whittaker was a good player, IMO. He wasn't great but after Alan Hutton left we needed a player who could still make those runs from the back to the front, he done it. His goal v Sporting Lisbon is what he'll be rememberd for in my eyes. I've always liked Whittaker as a player and whilst I'm not happy he didn't come back, I will look forward to watching him on MOTD. Good luck Steven.

Anyway, he was telling me some stuff about some of the players, because he is Northern Irish and Heggarty is too, he goes out with them and Davis and Lafferty and he was telling me and the auld man that Lafferty is a waster. Apparently, he has no money management skills and blows his money on a load o shite. Also, the guy was saying that Lafferty drives around in a 60k range rover and hasn't taxed it since it ran out 7 months ago. He was also telling me a story about them all going out to TGI Fridays (Buchanan St) and the bill came to something like £140 and Lafferty asked the lads to tap him some money to pay for the bill because he didn't have any. The guy was saying Lafferty won't be concerned about leaving Rangers, he will only be concerned about what his next club is going to be. As he was telling me this, I began to understand why McCoist had a bust up with him etc. Just thought I'd share the wee story. Seems like Lafferty, for all the talent he has, is a bit of a cunt after all.

I'm with MosesMcNeil on this one. I can't really understand how you could not enjoy and be proud of the monarchy we have right now. Everytime I see the Royal Family on my TV or in the paper etc the very first thing I think of is unity. Throughout time the Royals have always stood for the togetherness of our people. With a Union flag representing the countries in our glorious nation. Personally, when I see the Queen and the Union flag I automatically reference it with the World Wars. How during that time there was no/very little "I'm Scottish, not British" feelings but we were all the same people fighting for the same cause, for the same fantastic empire and for the same monarchy which has rules these isles for a very long time. No one will sit here and say that everything has been perfect over the years, innocent people have died, wrong moves have been made but you'll find that in every country. Be thankful we aren't rules with an Iron Fist as a dictatorship. You have freedoms which some people litterally die for elsewhere. We have a long, proud relationship with a wonderful Queen for the past 60 years, be proud of that because when it's gone you'll know it's gone. God Save our Queen and our Monarchy, be proud.

That's nonsense. How many fantastic players can't get a first team game at Real Madrid or Barcelona, Chelsea etc. That doesn't mean they aren't good enough. How many times have we seen a player not game a game under one management team but thrive under another. We've seen him play a handful of times and nothing he done make me think "He isn't good enough". When Jamie Ness doesn't start and Edu and Davis play in the middle, does that mean that Ness isn't good enough to play for Rangers? Naw. We hardly seen him play a game and unless you attend every reserve game in which he played then you can't really determine how good a player he could have been for Rangers.
