  1. Oh i'm sorry, I wasn't fully aware Gregg Wylde was a Rangers Striker. Also, if you would like to check again I did mention Steven Naismith. And it might also be useful to have a look at the score again Kilmarnock 1-0 Rangers. You know meaning that they scored. Thus my reasoning behind me bringing the fact that we missed 2-3 of our first team defenders and brought in a youngster. Tosser.
  2. Bears, believe me when I say, i'd love to see him improve his game and go on to be a great player. I mean he obviously has the potential. You don;t get into the Rangers first team if you don't have potential. What i'd like to see him do is work on his right foot. Then he could mix up his play. Inside or out. I mean if a player can skin you with the right and left foot and leave you for dead with acceleration thats a match winner right there. I just fear that he isn't making any progress with his right foot. I'd also like to see him come inside and get the ball. Like BluePeter said, he hugs the touchline, fair enough, that can be a good thing, but if he gets the ball only once in half an hour of standing on the touchline, i want to see him come inside, get the ball move to the wing with it then beat his man. I don;'t want people thinking that I dont think he will make it, i'm just saying I don't think he adds a lot to the team when he does, i believe he COULD if he improved certain areas on his game.
  3. I'm not giving him Flack. I mean, good on him for breaking into the first team. I just think he is far too one dimentional. Get it on his left foot and try to know it past a player and run for it. I mean if i was at RB coming up against him, I could literally mark him on his left side and allow him all the space in the world to run on my right and he would still try to run me on his left. I don't believe he deliveres a good final ball and i don't think he is a great finisher. If I was manager i'd send him on loan.
  4. I think the groundsman cuts the grass really well. Do you live in a world where everything is positive? Trust me, when things are going well, i'll say their going well and when a player is playing well i'll tell you he is playing well, but you have to take the negative with the positive and when someone isn;t playing well I think that should be noted too. How about you start a thread up and commend all the good players we have for doing so well. Broadfoot being those Messi-esque runds with his hands flailing like a running meadow scene or what about Davis' sublime passing skills etc etc? Why not balance out the universe and post up a thread about how much you rate Gregg Wylde instead of trying to tell me what I should and shouldn't be doing. Either that, or you can go fuck yourself. Either way, it's you're call. I have no problem you telling me what Gregg Wylde does well, and for the some part i'll agree, he does hug the touchline well. But, i'm allowed an opinion so, don't tell me what to do pal.
  5. So you're claiming that the reason Kilmarnock beat us is because Greg Wylde wasn't in the team? Nothing to do with Bocanegra being out and us having Ross Perry and Broadfoot in the team or Naismith being out or Papac and Wallace both being out. We lost that game purely because we missed Greg Wylde ... interesting.
  6. Charlie Adam, not at all. Chris Burke, yes, before injury. Ross McCormack, I really don't feel like I saw enough of him to judge him at all.
  7. Are you asking me how my thread is supportive? Well it's not. That's the point. I'm merely opening discussion in which people can voice their opinion of Gregg Wylde and maybe draw my attention to something in his play which I may have missed which could make me look at his game differently.
  8. Other than a smidge of pace, I honestly don't see what he brings to the team. The fact that he can't use his right foot is very very poor. It's probably been spoke about a million times but i've seen and heard so many people claim that when we have the Natural Width of Aluko and Wylde we will be a lot more dangerous. Even last season I thought he was remarkably over-rated and I get the feeling that people just want young players to be involved so much that they are blind to the talent. I hate to say it but that wee fuckin' horror Forrest is a much better player.
  9. Stevenson is fuckin' rotten. Like one of the worst SPL Strikers. He is a lucky bastard.
  10. If you have seen the Papers today you will have seen Motherwells "Saturday Service" (Motherwells "ultras") givng the Nazi salute outside Fir Park, for reasons who gives a fuck. Seen on Twitter today that Evening times and Herald Scotland journalist, Matthew Lindsay had this to say about it: MattLindsayET Matthew Lindsay Puzzled by the Daily Record's exclusive story exposing Motherwell's "Nazi saluting" fans. Have they not been to a Rangers game recently? I've already emailed the evening times, i'm furious. How the fuck are we brought into something that has nothing to do with us by what is supposed to be a high ranking journalist It's a disgrace.
  11. *Steve Davis blows hot and cold too much and should be dropped for a game or two. *I have never and probably will never like John Greig (purely based on how i perceive him) *Players who try their hardest should always be played ahead of players who play half hearted, regardless of ability. *It should be the fans choice to stand or sit at football games. *Greg Wylde's only real asset is his pace. He is an average player. *Players who speak against the club or tell the media they are actively looking to leave the club should not play for Rangers ever again. *Ex-Rangers players who are going though hard times should be helped by the club as much as possible. (Gazza, Colin Healy etc) *Rangers will never go into Administration - If they do, Scottish Football is finished. *Players like McCulloch, Kerkar, Healy etc should never be played ahead of our youngsters when possible *Davie Weir was not as good as some claimed him to be. *Barry Ferguson was one of the greatest players to pull on the Rangers Jersey. There are so many ...
  12. I really have no idea why Maribor are complaining, they fuckin' won the game.
  13. 100% agree. Playing McCulloch is like pitching 10 players on that field. He has to be benched.
  14. If you read closely enough you will see I wrote on early indication. Now I never said these players were bad players, I DID say they aren't good enough. I forgot about Bartley and I reckon him and Goian should be first choice at the back. I can say I'm not confident of Bedoya being a good player for us because I have seen him play. Also I didn't say he wont be a good player, I said im not confident of him being a good player for us.
  15. I thought Ortiz showed some good play in the first half but died the most excruciating death in the second half. I fear for the season bears, I really do. Performances will have to get better or the league is Celtics because we can't keep playing the way we have and expecting to get the wins.
  16. For 10k a week i'd run to Slovenia. I hate when people make excuses for players. Bocanegra has been in the game long enough to know what to do. If you do your job well thats all we can ask. He didn't know the team that well, but his only job is to stop the ball getting near our goal, tonight he didn't do it well enough.
  17. With the exception of Goian, I think all the players we have signed so far look out of their depth. I understand players need time, what i'm saying is though, that generally you get an indication of how good players are in the first game or two and only Goian looks like he can handle playing for this club. Wallace was abysmal. He is so much slower than I thought. Bocanegra hardly won a ball at all. Ortiz doesn't know how to pass the ball forward. I'm not confident of Bedoya being a good player either. McCulloch adds nothing to that team and should have been subbed at half time. The team is significantly worse than it was last season. If we go out of Europe, as much as it pains me to say this, we must reconsider Ally as manager. Don't get me wrong, I love McCoist and would be delighted if he was our manager for the next 10 years, but he has to do better than this. Saying he is inexperienced is partially true but he worked under Walter for years. I fear we have bought some very average players and I haven't seen a thing from any of them except Goian, which makes me think they will be successful. Not just that these players aren't just here for a season, they will be here for 2/3 years to come. With Jelavic almost certainly leaving next year, I fear Ally's next Striker will be well below par too.
  18. IF we try to soak up this team and hit them on the country we wont win this game tonight.
  19. I'd Rather have Fleck of Hutton playing than McCulloch right now. There is no viable excuse for McCulloch coming into this game other than "any other player who can play centre mid is injured."
  20. There is no way Lee McCulloch can be fitter than Jamie Ness, unless Ness has picked up another injury, which I highly doubt. Ness plays 90 minutes v Inverness and walks off fine, McCulloch hasn't played in weeks and mcoist said he MIGHT make it the other day. Walter Smith, I mean Ally McCoist, unless Ness's leg is hanging off, you've fucked up. McCulloch will add nothing to the team except giving our defenders more of the ball than Xavi and Inesta get.
  21. The fans are the only people who matter. I thought we were outstanding v Inverness with 1 up top. Anyway, agree to disagree mate. As long as we win eh?
  22. Of course he will get away with a defeat. He isn't going to get sacked. We're not saying he will be sacked, we are saying that questions will be raised and rightly so. If we don't play with an attacking force, Ally should be ashamed. I don't mind playing with 1 up front and they two wingers moving into attacking positions to support but if we fall into the mistake of letting them attack and then coutering them, we will deserve to lose. Walter Smith was the wrong person to teach Ally, tactically. Man management, excellent, but not tactics. Ally has to realise that 99% of Rangers fans would love to see a great attacking performance and lose than a great defensive performance and lose. We have to take the game to this lot tonight, end this contest as a tie in the first leg. There are absolutly no excuses for losing this game. None. We have got a player in, we have almost our best team out, we are the bigger and better team. If Ally loses this game, he deserves every piece of slack he gets for it.
  23. He's 100% right. If we can't beat Maribor there is something seriously wrong. This should be billed as an easy win for us but some people are making this club out to be better than they are. They average something like 2000 fans at home. They play less games in a season than Rangers, have less team in their league. Their league is poor. They failed to win 15 games last season and still won their league. Come on, everyone should agree we should turn these chaps over, surely?
