  1. The story i was told and grew up with was that two 'guys' shot an IRA guy and both were sentenced to death by hanging. Appeals and such resulted in the youngest 17 or 16,depending on the story teller, being spared but the oldest being hanged as an example of impartially. I've always sang the song in the belief that that story was true. And whether it's true or not i prefer it because it fits in more appropriately with the words.
  2. maybe I should have entitled this thread differently because it seems all are missing the main point. So i'll repeat Rangers were found to have done nothing wrong re tax,and the investigation was carried out on behalf of a company (SPL) that itself employs one of the 'big four' tax avoidance companies. So spelling it out for those who see no fucking IRONY in the SPL investigating a club for reducing its tax liability whilst they are employing one of the 'big four' tax scheme avoidance specialists is a bit rich. As a Rangers supporter i've had to listen to the 'morality' arguement after the BTC result. Not guitly but what about that library that was closed and the hospital and what about the troups in Iraq? Ducking aunts were crawling out the woodwork to blame us for everything from illiterate kids to dead soldiers. If you cant see the blinding hypocrisy of the Lawwell led SPL employing a specialist tax-avoidance company, openly criticized in the House of Commons. There is also an odd connection to Rangers in Margaret Hodges' attack on these companies. Her statement in regards of these companies costing the tax-payer schools, hospitals, equipment for soldiers, seems to have been copied almost directly in respect of Rangers insolvancy. Of course no mp/Lord would would think "i could use that argument against a football club". Not unless you are an IRA supporting, small baldy, lying bastard.
  3. that was meant lible not liable as in me begini liable cup pregtive vex wha dos myt fuck nuts in.
  4. I don't understand why the club dont just take one person to court for liable. That cunt Cosgrove would seem the prime candidate. It's almost like these wanks are calling Charlie's bluff. Can't understand why we cant do(legally)those cunts on RC and RS. Bring back SOUNESS. No fucking joke by the way. Imagine that prick Spiers facing Souness!
  5. great song and for those of us who take it seriously its a special song. A few(two?), Ulster defenders were hanged but only to appease the taigs. It depends on your idea of Rangers. I play that song at home simply because it means something to me.
  6. this could be the final nail in an already pretty secure coffin for the demented manky mob, including their bent(in both ways)legal eagles. Once the ASA come back and agree we have the right to call ourselves the most successful team in Scotland, where will the mutants go? what's left? I'd suggest nothing.Which leaves them stewing in their own hatred, piss and IRA loving rhetoric. We will rise to the top, where we belong and no group of immigrant bastard's will ever dominate us. That's what they don't realise. Even in Division 3 we are laughing at them and still looking down on them for the gypsy,sister-shagging bastards that they are. Like all perverted communties or groups, the thing they fear most is the TRUTH. We have been subjected to two 'trials' and cleared of all but minimal 'clerical mistakes'. The recent ASA bollocks proves that 'sporting integrity' 'fairness' etc was,as we all knew,a fuckin sham and smokescreen for religious and sectarian bigotry. It seems the demise of the company that operated The Rangers Football Club has acted as a 'social dredger'. Those who had felt comfortable attacking Rangers for many years anonymously suddenly felt it was safe to crawl out from under their stones, but only once they were assured of victory by others. So victory lost, exposed and with no where left to go they continue to pursue one of the most honourable clubs in Britain. They seek to destroy our honour not our history. It's our proud history and lack of peodophile activity that will always ensure that even in Division 3 we are still the Premier Club in Scotland.
  7. Not sure if you're at the wind-up or not mate. The reduction of tax liability was never a problem in Scotland or England until Rangers went into admin. All of a sudden it became an argument about 'morality'. (PSG just equalised 2-2 :-)) The point of my post was this odd 'tax morality' that only seems to apply to Rangers. Everyone and his dog seems to have an iphone or iproduct yet apple are allowed to operate a tax system that robs this county of billions in tax revenue. Why is it not stopped? Because when a company is allowed to grow too large and hence employ a large amount of people, plus 'linked product sales and third party products, the goverment finds themselves pretty much fucked when it comes to taxes In laymans terms its 'let us trade at our own terms and at a tax rate we decide or we will pull out of the UK . To date no goverment has had the balls to call their bluff,so they continue to get away with the most ridiculous tax avoidance imaginable. E.G. Apple stores are not 'points of sale' but 'delivery points'.All sales go to Ireland then conformation is sent back to 'deliver' the item to the customer, who is standing in the shop. It all takes seconds and no different from a normal transaction expect you have helped apple avoid tax in the UK.
  8. don't know people keep posting about this c**t. We all know what he is and how we feel about him but I for one hate seeing any threads on him. He's a bigotted Irish, ginger, ugly, bitter tarrier bastard who likes to threaten women by text messages. Absolute scum! What more is left to say. No more threads on the c**t please.
  9. I assume you're joking or on the wind-up
  10. such as Starbucks saying they have never made a profit in the UK. It used to be called 'creative accounting'. You seem to be missing the main point, that our club was specifically targeted for a relatively small amount. The moral indignation about schools etc was shocking to read in newspapers.
  11. Known as 'one of the big four' KPMG are known for their 'creative' tax avoidance schemes which have been openly criticised in the House of Commons. "You all choose to focus on working in an area which reduces the available resources for us to build schools, hospitals, infrastructure," said Chairwoman Margaret Hodge, an MP with the opposition Labour party. She said accounting firms which give advice that put tax payers at a disadvantage should be barred from government contracts. So it seems the SPL choose a company that is known for it's ability to minimise tax liablity in a perfectly legal but morally dubious way. So where is the media outrage? Where is the outrage that was directed at Rangers for doing the same thing? We were told about how we had 'cheated' the tax-payers out of schools,a library, hospitals etc etc. The obvious fact that every company seeks to minimise its tax contributions never occurred to Scottish sports reporters. So will we see reporters asking why the SPL are trying to deny our country money for schools, libraries, hospitals etc by trying to pay as little tax as possible? Fuck no! Its only The Rangers that do that of course. The moral outrage by the SPL members and their chairmen is totally undermined by their own tax avoidance and use of KPMG. m.moneymarketing.co.uk/1065246.article?mobilesite=enabled m.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2013/feb/01/accountancy-big-four-laugh-tax-office www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2271633/Were-proud-help-firms-make-billions-avoiding-tax-accountants-tell-MPs.html
  12. no offence to anyone but the sign by Monday or out of work till June sounds like crap. How can any authority stop someone from finding legitimate work if they are unemployed and out of contract? The European Laws would not allow such a thing surely.
  13. Advocat was the driving force behind Murray Park being built but ultimately it was still David Murray's decision to spend the money or not. Arguing about youth, who did what or when misses the point that Murray gave Rangers one of the best training facilities in Europe at the time and I just think that he deserves that small legacy of it retaining his name. I don't see it as an honour to him but as an honour to the team and players that brought us 9-in-a-row as it's commonly known as the 'Murray Era'. To change it seems petty and small-minded to me.
  14. Looks like Charlie is having a clear-out in time for next season. I know he's a KP boy but Durrant must be on dodgy ground too since no one can figure out what he actually does.
  15. Many have campaigned for a change of name for Murray Park. It's understandable that we feel Sir David Murray let us down and sold the club we love to a shyster-crook. Who knows what pressure was put to bear on him but hopefully all will be revealed in time. I strongly believe that the name should remain and i'll give my reasons. There are four main reasons I believe his legacy should be remembered and the 1st is his then, radical signing policy that saw us field six of the England team at that time and bring a greater world-wide profile and audience to Scottish football by his actions. Sir David Murray raised the bar in terms of Scottish football and it's interest abroad. One could almost say he saw what was coming in terms of big money teams in Europe who would dominate and, he tried to get in on the ground floor. Unfortunately Sky left us out in the cold, but he was right in his prediction. As we all know we were one of the eight first Champions League participants and one of the teams represented by the eight stars on the Champions League football logo. That legacy will never be undone and we can all point to that logo and proudly say that one of those stars represents Rangers. I was priviliged to see Gazza and Laudrup at Ibrox on many occassions and it would take too long to list the names of the many great and talented players who wore the Rangers jersey under Sir David Murray's time. It goes without saying that we would never have achieved 9-in-a-row without him nor would we have gotten within 1 goal of the Champions League Final, nor would we have had so many terrific and happy memories of the talented players he brought to our club. For bringing us the joy of watching Gazza and Laudrup together in a Rangers team,if nothing else, the man deserves that small recognition of his efforts and for the players he brought to Rangers.
  16. It really makes you wonder how Ally got his coaching badge since everyone knows you need an 'out' at corners. Even managing amateur teams it was a given that at corners you would have two on the posts, left back and right back, two mids on or around the edge of the box to pick up runs, clearances and to stop opposings mids from shooting from headed clearances and most important of all was to always leave the centre upfield to occupy the centre backs and as a threat. It's basic football logic and alarming that Ally can't see it.
  17. I was impressed by him early on,specially the game at the midden (forget which one) Brown tried to boss him at a throw in and Hutton put him in his place. Brown shit himself and I thought yes we've got a midfield hardman who can put it about. Sadly he seems to have gone backwards. Always figured he was more right mid than centre mid.
  18. can't imagine a true Ger doing that.Me and a few mates (Chelsea) dropped into a pub after work, the North Pole,White City. Playing darts and some guy appears with a bucket asking for money for the I Ran Away. Spat in it and told him to fk off. Landlord hustled us out the back door 'for our own safety'. Just cant imagine drinking in a place full of mhanks even if it was free.
  19. the point I was making was that 4-1-4-1 is not a bad formation and as we know many top teams play that as it can quickly turn into an attacking formation.but those teams are playing against other top teams not part-timers. If we can't start 4-4-2 going to 4-2-4 when attacking in division 3,then when can you ever do it? We moaned when Walter did it away to c****c yet some seen happy to see it at home to Stirling Albion now. I suggest it's the Ally factor. No other man would get away with it. I hope Ally sees the light soon and turns it around as i'd love nothing more than to see him holding up the 'SPL' trophy eventually. It would be the best girfy to those who tried to destroy us and a fitting reward for Ally's loyalty and his defence of our club. He needs to change it though cos it's just not working.
  20. I can understand a manager opting for one up front in an away game in Europe or at a tough away venue but one central forward at home in the third division baffles me. It seems Mr McCoist has a system he wants to instill in the players, regardless of the quality of opposition, which to me is ridiculous. If he thinks Rangers should play 4-1-4-1 at home to Stirling Albion then what system would he play away or home in Europe? There is no excuse for such a formation at any time in Division 3. The arguement in his defence is 4-1-4-1 can quickly become 4-4-2. Well 4-4-2 can quickly become 4-2-4 which is more in keeping with what i'd expect from a Rangers team in Division 3. It's not what you would expect of McCoist,a man who could not play in such a system. He was a great player but a lone striker he was not. Also the lone striker system can only work with good midfielders who get forward in support and pose a goal threat. From what I've seen in recent games i'm afraid it's on a par,or worse than John Grieg's time as manager. Everyone wanted him to succeed and every excuse was used to give him more time, which set Rangers back years. We have a chance to rebuild and change from the bottom up yet here we are in division 3 playing 4-1-4-1 at home, the formation you would expect to see away from home in the Champions League.
  21. We live in fucking strange times indeed.A scum supporter can sing f****n to one of their own players, but if i do it i get arrested.Black guys in London call each other n***er all the time but when i called one of them a n***er he got offended and a fight broke out.The older i get the more i think fuck it! Keep yr mouth shut. And FFS whatever you do dont go into a shop in London and say love or dear to the bird behind the counter, fucking riot squad get called in.Ok a fat guy in a security guard uniform but its still embarassing.
  22. In all due respect the op is not condoning the behaviour or using it to scope cheap points against anyone, that was your assumption. I'd like to think that he is merely pointing out this outragous shit is still going on and being covered up.The link to the other mob is purely down to the fact they did the same. It seems very fuckin odd to me that it happens almost exclusively with boys, maybe shame plays a part in not telling and these sick cunts play on that. Not point scoring by any means.Justifiable post on its own.
  23. Been a member for two years but only to enjoy reading about the club i love and reading some banter but for the first time in my life i feel fucking disgusted at fellow supporters. The sick cunt that thinks abducting a child, possibly raping them and killing them,is funny needs shot. Do you think a post like that will not be spotted by them, copied, spread and used to tarnish our club? Too fucking right they will. Joke? 'spunk-riddled corpse child joke by Rangers supporter' Sun exclusive. How fucking funny would that be for our club? If it was your daughter would it still be funny?
