  1. He attends 3 board meetings in person per year. The others would no doubt include him by conference call or video link. Phil has to keep the "Club in chaos" scenario alive to make sure the moonhowlers keep contributing to his site. He paid £2.38 million He wouldn't. You have to realize that making up totally untrue stories gives people like Ill Phil, JJ and others a living. They have to continue making up negative stories to ensure the money keeps coming from the deranged who believe/want to believe everything they read.
  2. Was down to finance rather than anything else.
  3. Excellent interview and shows the amount of work being done at youth level. He speaks very well and says everything i wanted to hear for years/decades. Exciting times ahead by the sound of things. We as a support must show patience and belief in what they are doing.
  4. Consider yourself lucky. If this kind of behaviour had occured in the 80s under Alastair "Herr" Hood she would be banned for life and have to report to her local Police Station during match time.
  5. Wait until Police Scotland get in touch after her photo appears in the Daily Record.
  6. At the start of his tenure we were playing in the Championship, which of course is going to result in us looking more impressive.
  7. Not at all. We are where i expected us to be at this point. Anybody who seriously thought we were going to challenge Celtic needs to be realistic in their expectations. They have a huge financial advantage over us in terms of transfer fees & wages paid. As Davie Weir said today "We need to take small steps". This isn't what some fans want to hear but imo is the only sensible way forward.
  8. Because the previous comment related to his time at Brentford. Mentioned what he has done at Rangers as well.
  9. It was the 2000 Euros where both England & Romania beat them.
  10. Mark Warburton took Brentford from 4th-2nd in his first season (6 months) gaining automatic promotion to the Championship. He then led Brentford to 5th place in a highly competitive league finishing above several higher profile clubs whose budgets were far in excess to his. They lost over two legs to Middlesbrough who gained promotion to the Premiership. Brentford finished 5th the season after he left and currently lie 15th and are on their third manager. He gained automatic promotion for us and reached the Scottish Cup Final beating three Premiership teams on the way, playing a style of football superior to the previous managers. Won't include the Petrofac trophy although it had eluded us previously. He has been dealing at the bottom end of the transfer market and simply can't compete with Celtic in terms of transfer fees & wages. They have had a couple of Champions League qualifications bringing in 10s of millions and sold several players to the most hyped league in Europe, although how many duds were signed, played and released without many even realizing they were there. The reality is he is trying to rebuild not only a team but also the whole infrastructure of a club we can be proud of. This will take time and require patience from a support whom (imo) have quickly forgotten the mistakes of previous regimes and whose only remedy is spend, spend, spend. Mark Warburton has shown the class & dignity expected from a Rangers manager several times in his short tenure and deserves the fans backing.
  11. How exactly do we achieve this when the motion to allow new investors failed at the AGM. Scottish football doesn't allow for any great return in financial terms for someone in any case. Are there any businessmen with a Rangers background willing to take a chance?, doesn't seem like there are. Most people wanted a sustainable financial model which ensures we never go into the sort of debt that DM presided over but at the first sign of hard times we hear nothing but "we have to spend" to compete regardless of the consequences.
  12. Serious or realistic if you want. People wanting us to spend money we don't have.
  13. Did anyone expect us to win the league this season?, as it stands we are competing with Aberdeen for second and whilst not great we are where i thought we would be. Celtics points total is way above the norm in recent years which only brings attention to us.
  14. What does that even mean? Some people going nuts because we can't compete with a top German team in a friendly. Madness.
  15. Are people surprised that we are nowhere near the level of the second best team in Germany?.
  16. You obviously haven't dealt with a plumber recently. Until we respond it's difficult to comment further on this tbh. The club should however have anticipated this move by Celtic and demanded cash up front before any tickets were given to them. Had they refused then sell them to our own support and make public the reasons behind it.
  17. Scottish Sun claiming "Rangers chiefs say they were left with their own repair bill after the match between the sides on New Years Eve".
  18. No idea but i hope video/photographic evidence was taken. Seems to me we are always reactive rather than proactive in occasions like this. If damage was done to our Stadium we should have made this public at the time. This makes us look as if we are on the back foot and is yet another stick with which to beat us. How is the bridge building coming along?
  19. I believe we are wanting Celtic to pay for damage done by their fans at Ibrox on the 31st.
