If you look at the team i would pick most weeks then i honestly believe we can hold on to the spl title, for example the return of thomson is huge because it then gives mendes the freedom to then push forward and create. Then theres 3 i would play in front of thommo, davis back in the middle alongside edu and pedro - easily the best midfield in scotland imo a great mixture of talent in there. Boyd as we all know is the best finisher in scotland and would never be out my team and big lafferty who i thought realy came on to a game at the end of last season would be my pick alongside boyd. Read a few posts on big lafferty recently and one suggested he was a donkey, that is absolute pish imo this guy has bags of potencial. Add all that to the magic of bougherra and the form of sasa and whittaker then we have an impressive starting 11. Thats also not a bad bench there either!! So finaly lets realy get behind the team for this season signings or no signings. After all the trophys at ibrox and im sure walter ally and kenny wont give it up just yet!!! We welcome the chase -

Kenny millar is the only striker at the club with any real pace and even at that he misses a load of games due to injury! At the end of last season a thought millar realy troubled defences with his pace and thats why i think its a must that we get another striker in with pace to burn. I understand funds are hard at the club just now but surely with fergie hemdani dailly n hopefully adam going this will have freed up a place for a 20grand a week striker to come in. boyd naismith velicka lafferty no great deal of pace there.

Yes its the same old senario we buy a lad with bags of potential give him a few games realy starts to look the part then BANG out for 3 months at least. This news has come as a real blow for myself and i suspect my fellow bears. Thought edu was realy starting to look the part and was at the pub last nite raving about him to the tims then wake up this morning to read the record only to be told hes out for months queue the tims txts for a slaging. According to the daily record big andy webster is on his way to dundee utd! Feel realy sorry for this lad as at one point i thought he was the best cd in the country at his age!
