He has bags of talent but its a lot of money for us and he hasn't stood out in the big games IMO . If we had a pile of money I think he'd be worth buying but with the rebuild that's needed I don't think we can afford to pay 5 mill for him

IMO we are seeing exactly what we seen under Gerrard in a large amount of games. Which makes sense if beale was the master tactician behind Gerrard We can play some nice football at times up until the final third and then struggle to create proper clear cut chances or break the opposition defence down. We are so slow and I don't think playing with the 2 "10s" helps. The crosses from deep do my head in as well If that's the way beale wants to play next season then I don't see us winning anything again .

He’s a good player but it depends on what money we have in the summer , we need to be smart with recruitment. I don’t think he will ever be suited to fast paced games like an old firm

While we were obviously showed better intensity yesterday I don’t think we were great . We really struggled to create anything from open play and didn’t make hart work enough. We had some decent build up play at times but we’re shot shy. that passing back and fourth between Morelos and Kent when one of them should have had a go summed it up. I’m hoping they both leave in the summer.

Really pleased with the team tonight , i was thinking that this could have been a potential slip up. Could have easily bagged another couple as well

The more I listen to Beale the more I think he just talks a good game but is failing to deliver overall. he went on about taking the handbrake off … when’s that going to start. There’s no real change in our play , our players don’t really press and are lazy and we pass the ball about most of the time and keep possession for the sake of it before trying a long diagonal ball. you can’t fault the results but this isn’t what we were promised when he arrived

What we need depends on Beales vision for us , 3 months in and I can’t see a new style of play that makes me think he will go for a certain type of player. so while we all want another aggressive and energetic midfielder who’s good on the ball maybe he is looking at another holding midfielder because he likes to go with 2 of them.

What’s the script with Ofoborh? I know he has a heart issue but 2 years on you’d think he’d have an idea about whether he was ever going to be able to play again. I doubt he ever will for us but it’s all very quiet about him

He’s had 3 months to get us playing better football and it’s the same turgid shite we are playing with slow build up and 2 holding midfielders. Hearts aside obviously. I get he needs time and to bring his own players and we need a bit of a clear out but I expected him to get more out this group in terms of performance , he‘s this master tactician apparently, so how long does it take for him to implement his style or is this it. you can say we’ve got injuries so he’s working with what he has but that doesn’t wash when he chose to leave out raskin and jack in favour of kamara and lundstrum

It’s time for Beale to stop all his talking until he can back it up . I think he can be a success but he got it majorly wrong today and hearts aside the performances have been rough. he’s been in 3 months now and even if this group of players need freshened up he should still be able to get them playing some kind of decent football and have us up for a cup final . Today was embarrassing
