he is only 18 right now though correct? Back when he got a few MOTM's in a row we were all hailing him as the messiah. IMO if we give him a good run of about 10/15 matches then he will get his confidence and keep his place in the first team squad. Hopefully with Miller gone he will get some games in his correct position. Id like to see him dropping behind playing off a striker, maybe a good partner for Jelavic. He could still turn out to be a great player for us.

If we got taken over before the summer, would you put in a bid for him in July? On his day IMO he's one of the most skillful players in Scotland if played in his correct position. I dont think with their vast sums of money Manchester City will actually need him, so a wee bid of 2 mill or so would surely do the trick? Assuming we'll have 5 mill to spend then that leaves us with another 3 mill for a defender and maybe pick up another loan signing or bosman to bolster the back line? Although I would like to see Fleck get a run of games in the position that Vlad is playing in right now so he could be a natural replacement.

Watching that performance made my day at work along with an unexpected cappucino from Starbucks...usually that cant be said about this 'gers team as our style of play is usually horrid to the eye but the last two matches I have been very impressed with our boys. Weiss looks like he's on a mission to prove his doubters wrong, and the young kids that are coming through look VERY promising and seeing them play has given me much more confidence in our future even without a takeover. Our passing from the back was superb, instead of the usual pump it up to the park to the other teams centre backs. Sure it was only games against wee teams like Killy and Hamilton, but we know from earlier in this season that we are capable of doing it against the big teams like Valencia and United as well. There's been a lot of criticism recently about our tactics in general but in the last two games we have got it spot on so I felt it was necessary to give credit where it was due. Lets hope that we can continue this good form on Tuesday and big Jela gets the start in a low pressure environment against ICT. At the moment we are 5 points back but with three games in hand thats a potential 9 points so we do have room for a potential slipup. I believe the Scum will drop points as well in the next couple games as Lennon has a touchline ban and I believe that will affect the morale of their players as well as us putting on some pressure. Tbh I dont get what all the fuss is about. We have two games in hand and if we win both those games then we're two points ahead of the scum. Sure, Id rather we have played those games already, and its a farce that come Saturday they will have played three more games then us, but maybe it will allow for some complacency among the Celtic squad which I think will happen as they haven't been in this situation for a while. Looking at the Upcoming fixtures, Id say we have the easier run in up to the Old Firm game, and we should even be making up ground until then. With Jelavic and Beattie coming back, I wouldn't even feel the need for us to sign another striker.
