Today has been absolutely fantastic although I start a new job tommorow at 8 (ouch?!). Ive been on the booze celebrating since 9 AM and its now 11 PM lol. It was great I saw one of them downtown, and I got off the bus just to give him shit. Anyway, FUCK YOU TIMMY!!!!

McGregor 7.5 Did what he had to do and kept the clean sheet. Our best player week in/week out. Whittaker 6.5 Average performance from Whittaker I thought. We could really use him going forward more often especially considering Ortiz just doesnt look that great on the wing. Goian 7.5 Great Performance like usual from this guy,Id have him over that fat prick Boughy anyday. Bocanegra 6 gave the ball away a couple times and seemed to be a bit nervy in the corners but other then that solid. Broadfoot 7 Surprisingly played very well, strolled through the game defensively and made a few good passes going forward. Ortiz 4.5 Terrible game. Pretty much hid on the right and barely noticed him all game.Thought Mckay made more of an impact in his few mins on the pitch then he did all game and that says a lot. Davis 6 Seemed fairly average today. Starting to become a normality with this guy. Not captain material if he keeps this up. Edu 7 Looked a different, more confident player out there today. Made some good tackles,closed down opposition attackers very well, made some nice passes. My MOTM to be honest. Wylde 6.0 Not a lot better then Ortiz but did take a couple defenders on at least and used created a few chances in the second half there. Still young and learning though so inconsistency is expected. Naismith 7 Thought Naisy was great today. Sure he missed a couple chances, but he played his role very well. Especially in that second half his first touch was sublime and brought lafferty and the other attacking players into the game. Lafferty 6.5 He scored a great goal but other then that I thought he was pretty poor TBH. However a strikers job is to score goals and if he keeps doing that then fine by me.

Think thats a bit harsh. Hes a decent player to have in the squad like he showed today for backup in case Wallace or Whittaker get injured. Certainly didn't put a foot wrong in todays game and if you think otherwise please enlighten us.

To be honest he's been one of the better players for us on the pitch, but that doesn't really say much as we're playing absolute pish right now. Think we need to take off Ortiz as he's just been hiding all game IMO. We do need to get the ball out to the flanks more in the second half and spread them out then I think they're there for the taking. Naisy looks like scoring today and hopefully he'll grab one or two.

During the Penalty shootout ended up buying two rounds of shots after Novo put his goal in, got carried away in a sing-song and then just never showed up to work Funny story though, Two hours later we're outside for a smoke and I see my boss on his way home on his bike. He more or less tells me im fired and we start giving him the bird and shouting "who are ya, who are ya". Honestly one of the classier nights Ive ever had lol.

I was sitting in pure amazement after those three saves he pulled off for us there in the second half. He truely is a world class player, and Im astonished that he isn't playing for one of the top clubs in england. Hopefully we can manage to keep a hold of him for the rest of his career and make him a club legend. I felt today also showed however that we are in desperate need of another striker as shown by our 451 formation . Jelavic is yet to reach top form, while Lafferty is inconsistent in the best of times although he is starting to win me over. Our defence and midfield look secure and we could even offload the likes of Edu and Broadfoot as I feel that they are both out of their depth at Rangers. Id like to see either Jamie Murphy or Diouf brought in as I feel they are reasonable targets and hopefully cost too much. On a side note, our future does look bright and if we continue to play youth I believe we will grow as a side. I think Ness, Perry, Fleck, and Wylde all have BIG futures with us, while guys like Mcmillan and Hemmings could be good squad players. Thoughts?
