Nothing new in the original post tbh. Boyd cannot or rarely produces against a top 6 team. A passenger most of the time in those matches. Good penalty v Hearts...

But a world class goalie might not have saved that header. Swings and roundabouts and all that. Exactly. It was a mistake, i don't know any goalie who has never made ONE mistake before. Would be fine if it was just ONE mistake that hes made, however that isnt the case with McGregor. Correct... if McGregor is 'world class' the error probably doesn't happen. He's just not consistent enough for me. I watched (most of) the match again and it's amazing how many balls McGregor doesn't come for. He's not worth the risk when we have Neil sitting on the bench.

Just watched the highlights... That was some penalty kick by Boydy today. No Keeper on this planet would have saved that. Even if they guessed right. Happy for him. (And us of course :-) ) Struck with authority, belief, and total confidence. No way was he going to miss.

I credit Walter. He has actually made Big Lee into a contributor in (basically) new positions for him. Lee isn't a bad football player. He can be rash and clumsy at times, but he also has a decent level of skill. And.. at this rate, he's on for 38 league goals!

I think dropping him for the next match would be the wrong thing to do... We won today.. he had an amazing save in the second half. BUT... one more mistake and Walter has every right to get Neil back in there. I do wonder what the 'real' situation is. Is AM in goal to get sold and he knows that -- AND Neil knows it? Allan is an enigma sometimes. World class saves on occasion, and other times it seems he is not focused. We won today though (most important) , and Walter will have another 'Keeper decision to make soon I think.

Not lucky at all mate... Hard earned victory after a sending off that was no worse than a yellow. And.. a blunder by shagger.
