  1. Works both ways - I remember people on here going tonto when Smith was our manager and he never said a thing regarding transfers or our financial situation.
  2. What confuses me is how many people complain about the wages we are paying our players, and demand something is done about it. When Mr Wallace identifies this problem and sets out trying to address it everyone goes to panic stations. Our wage bill (playing or otherwise) is far too high. If you don’t ask you don’t get. Hopefully those upstairs enter into similar discussions.
  3. If someone has the nerve to post something like this they should at least have the balls to admit it. Sick of this 'it wasn't me I was hacked' pish. He deserves everything coming to him.
  4. Marks hoover is a good hoover

  5. I just received: Dear Mr xxxx, Land transactions – Glasgow City Council, Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board and Celtic Football Club I acknowledge receipt of your e-mail dated 8th January 2014 expressing your concerns about land transactions between Glasgow City Council, Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board and Celtic Football Club. It is not clear from your e-mail whether you have raised your concerns directly to Glasgow City Council and Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board. These organisations have independent processes in place to consider matters raised by members of the public relating to irregularities. I have made the appointed auditors aware of your concerns and have been advised that the council and health board have received a number of enquiries relating to this issue. In contacting them directly they will be familiar with the issues already raised and will deal with your enquiry as efficiently as possible. If you have already used the council and health board processes please contact us again enclosing a copy of the correspondence you have had with them. We will consider the matter in accordance with our correspondence procedures. I hope you find this information helpful. Yours sincerely Sally Thompson Project Manager – Performance Audit and Best Value Group
  6. After administration the fans were promised a new dawn where we install a proper youth policy, keep wages at a minimum, and run the club properly, but the sad reality is the coaching staff want to get back to the top league at all costs.
  7. I do agree that the likes of Simonsen, Smith and Foster are just bizarre signings, and I'm not happy with them. I do however think the likes of Daly, Templeton, Shiels, Black etc. were vital in terms of going forward. The fact of the matter is McCoist was always going to go for the 'best' he could get to strengthen his chances. There no doubt were better options out there on a fraction of their wages, but I think the blame there lies with the men who sanctioned it.
  8. You'd be happy stuck in the lower divisions for years with a bunch of young players when there's no guarantee they will ever improve?
  9. I'd be happy to have Bougherra back, but I get the feeling he'd come back and it would be great for a fe wmonths then he'd want to piss off again. He just never seemed like he wanted to be here.
  10. Funny how people moan when we play ugly and win 1-0 but they're more than happy for us to ditch the experienced players and field a team of young boys who will most likely drop points.
  11. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2523910/James-Arthur-apologises-reckless-behaviour-including-bedding-fan-17-homophobic-rap.html He's a Middlesbrough fan who's behaviour is more suited to them. His 15 minutes of fame are well and truly over after disgracing himself repeatedly recently, so why on earth we'd invite him to Ibrox is beyond me. Don't get why people clamour to be associated with people like him, its embarrassing.
  12. Get this homophobic prick away from our club.
  13. Twitter certainly has a lot to answer to. A platform where your words can be seen by millions worldwide within seconds.
  14. Haven't heard that one - go on
