watched the match too and although he was poor in front of goal i thought he ran the hearts defence ragged the whole match, hit woodwork and set up a goal. not bad cosidering.

he knows because he and his agent know the going rate for a goalscorer. some teams in the 3rd tier of england will pay more than 5k per week. you keep mention his goal ratio for Brighton, but ignoring the fact he was carrying an injury and not doing himself justice. the fact is that Rangers were quite happy to offer him a pre contract to sign him but Rangers need him now and will not fork out. Jelavic scoring record was also poor until he came to Rangers, with average teams. Rangers probably trebled his wages and gave him a whacking signing on fee. Novo came from a similar background, Rangers signed from Dundee albeit he was scoring there for 2 seasons. probably quadrupled his wages. Why should Sandaza accept double when other very average players are on 3-4 times that amount. He is quite right if he belives he is worth more. There is no denying the guy is a decent footballer and knows he will get more money come next season. What has he done wrong? he has the audacity to turn down Rangers and the audacity to speak out (which is clever as it gets him noticed, agents and players do it all the time). He obviously has the confidence now he is injury free, fair play to him. If we are going in the huff about all the players who are turning us down then we will be abusng alot of players. We pay the going rate or we suffer, we are suffering big time. Someone will pay and get the benefit.

I am not going to fall out with anyone over it, just giving my deluded opinoion and trying to back it up with the facts that are there for all to see. time will tell.

WELL I AM DELUDED. We are deluded for offering him a pre contract, we should have bought him now to help us win the league. He has 14 goals so far and will score another 10, for Rangers he could have scored another 15 and won us the league. Some folk are on here shouting for Boyd or Novo, that would cost at least 10k per week and neither would be as good as Sandaza.
