I assume you're middle aged, because any American below the age of 30 can see the strides soccer has made in the last 4 years alone. Honestly soccer is probably the equal of hockey in the States now, the problem is that American interest is fragmented between Euro-snobs, MLS and immigrants following their home league. On the other hand, Rangers fans shouldn't over-estimate the effects of expansion in the USA. Shirt sales could be okay, but they're not going to be flying off the shelves for the casual fans unless you guys purchase Landon Donovan or an American striker that starts putting up 20 goals a season. This FSC idea is an excellent idea though.
