  1. Pedro lashing out, its quite a descriptive comment I don't recall any lashing out but purely a statement of facts or is just not allowed to say anything at all ?

If all reporters did walk out, and I take it this was last Thursday why has it taken to Monday the following week to read any report on it. Lets face it Isa from still game could keep a secret longer than them. When Jim Traynor told them to stop asking stupid questions last season it was on Sky news !!

  2. The more you see the angrier you get but lets be honest going by the media reaction on both radio yesterday and the papers today (not sure about Sportscene I refuse to watch it) its billed as no more than a dramatic game so I would think pretty much that sod all is going to happen.

The only way we will ever get any form of justice is to win simple as that and I know some will say how can we when you see refereeing like yesterday. I know some of the new players will now  feel what its like to be in Scotland as a Rangers player and know that for every 50/50 ball 9 times out of ten they won't get the call in there favour. But winning will be the only to get it right up them and if we do go on a bit of a streak I truly believe Scottish football will implode.

  3. I listened to Pedro's interview and when he mentioned a tackle that would be illegal In Rugby I thought he was referring to the Stokes challenge at the beginning of the game.. then I saw the picture of the challenge on Morelos. Well WTF, if players are going to get away with this at Ibrox let alone away from home then the SFA need serious pressure put on them to protect both sets of players.

I googled illegal Rugby tackles and I really cant see the difference between the two pictures attached. (hope they are attached)

  4. He has improved from last season but by no means should he be considered a first team regular. Our squad requires some serious money in order to get anywhere close to pre 2012 standards, at the moment we have to appreciate that it is going to be along journey back.

I think he has been guilty of just that.

Today Pedro had to scream at him a few times to stay up front when he was drifting back. He then ended up being accommodated as a midfielder.

Why he wasn't hooked for Rossiter by half time if not before only Pedro knows. But it cost us the midfield.

I don't see what he brings at all.

    He's spent.

Not bringing on Rossiter is the biggest mystery today.

Miller is nowhere near good enough to warrant having others doing his donkey work so he can do his thing.

He's not creative, skilled or clinical enough, nowhere near.

The thought of him being vital, and so good at some aspect of play that others should be played to support his strengths is just ludicrous.

Probably the biggest lot of shite I've read since Chineseboy fucked up as usual with his predictions and opposition assessment and went for a 5-0 win.

Pedro seems to think he is good enough, what I am saying is if you are going to play a player at Millers age you cant ask them to run around like a 25 year old and drop deep and then support the attack. Or do you think he just goes out and plays wherever he likes.

Would Miller take it well if Caixinha dropped him?

I don't think any player would be happy if they were dropped sure Miller is no different. Hence the fact that at the moment seems happy to follow the order to drop deep. Its seems obvious to everyone bar the manger that he would be better of further up the park and let someone else drop deep. For me guys like Miller & Niko are vital but you have to play to there strength and put players on who will do a lot of the leg work for them and at the moment its not happening.

In my opinion, he should never have got a new contract. We need a better quality striker than any of those we have at the moment, and that player should be Miller's replacement.

I cant disagree with that but he was offered a contract and he gets handed a shirt every week, I simply think he is following orders when on the park. It is really up to Pedro to realise that he hasn't the touch or perhaps fitness to drop deep and still get forward to support a main striker.

  9. Kenny Miller was one of the few players to stand up and be counted last season. He looks out of place in the deeper role there's no doubt about that but he is obviously under orders to play this way or you would see him get pelters from the sidelines to get further forward.

In all honestly we need to sign a centre back and a full back what ever we decide to do tactically going forward. We look really short for when we get injuries/suspensions. Don't really rate Wilson at all as a back up unless he can kick on and learn from Bruno like he did with Davie Weir. And even though Wallace isn't the best we looked a lot worse for not having him in the team today

Agree that the defence is one area that needs further strengthening, if you take Alves out I really don't fancy a prolonged spell of Wilson / Cardoso the full back areas have been a concern for years even when Wallace is on I think he has had issues with his fitness since the middle of last season., but due to the lack of a half decent replacement he has to play when perhaps he should be rested.

We have Kenny Miller running around in midfield like a headless chicken.  We need an actual footballer in there that knows the role and can pass it around.  Jack can be that man but after the sending off we should've brought in another CM, not put Kenny in there.  Windass and Miller are good athletes with plenty of running in them but they haven't got enough ability on the ball to occupy our midfield.  Pedro's signed two good CBs and I do think Dorrans and Jack will give us a tougher midfield.  However, without more attacking quality in the wider areas and up front we'll struggle and just start punting it long like we did today.  If we don't sign more attacking quality before the window closes we're fucked.

Hibs seem to have better players than us midfield to front and that's ridiculous.  They've turned their squad round in one summer and now look like they can compete for second.  They were passing it around in the middle and pressing us high up the pitch no problem at all.  Other teams are progressing while we remain either stagnant or move backwards.

That's the point I am making, Pedro continuously picks players and formations that you cannot see any logic too. He played Rossiter beside Dorrans midweek so for me it would seem logical to then go one up top and keep your midfield four in place. But he waits and we lose a goal before halftime which means you are coming out to chase the game. To then further compound a poor decision he brings on Pena, who apparently is on a separate fitness regime in order to bring him up to the same level of fitness as the rest of the squad. He then leaves Kranjkar and Rossiter on the bench who both have had full pre season training !!  as I said baffled...

Aye, it shouldn't have been a sending off. but...

We should still be able to muster a lot more than that performance.  Each time our defence won the ball back we high punted it up the park and gave possession straight back to Hibs.  Is this why Herrera was brought in?  Are we going to punt it front to back as a tactic?  That's not a Rangers team I want to watch.

We're badly lacking quality in the middle of the park.  We've gone in to this season with Windass and Miller still running around in there and that's a sacking offence in my opinion.  We were powder puff in midfield last season, and we were powder puff again today.  We need a big commanding CM who can put his foot on the ball and boss games.  We also need a creative wide player who can occupy that left-side and attack with real purpose.

Say what you will about Kranjcar but at least he attempts to play football instead of hoofing the ball all over the fucking park and I would say we missed him today.

Pedro had to go in to this season and start winning consistently.  He's failed to do that.  To get outplayed at Ibrox in the manner we did today was totally embarrassing.  I think that's up there with the 5-1 gubbing we got from Celtic.  We were dominated by a newly promoted team.

We actually paid McGregor off a few years back and replaced him with Kiernan.  Our club is a complete, and utter, circus.

Pena instead of Kranjkar baffles me, keeping Miller on instead of Rossiter in midfield baffles me even more. Last season I was confused by Pedro now I am baffled. I am not sure if this is step forward but the results and performances feel really similar.

From cF3, looked like he made the headbutt motion. No connection but he made the move.

If memory serves he did the same last season but only got a yellow, but then again he played for Aberdeen then....

  14. There was a poll after the Progress game; Pedro stay or go. I fully expect him to gone by Oct / Nov I think he talks a good game and is a likeable guy but not the man to take Rangers forward. I hope 100% I am wrong but past results say different.

  15. Total lack of game management when we are on top. You cant ask for a better start today but by the sounds of things it was like a game of basket ball after that and it was the same against Motherwell absolutely no idea how to keep possession and take the sting out of an opponent and let a game calm down a bit.

  16. Didn't see any off the game as I am offshore but followed the posts on RM when I was stunned that Pena came onto today when we were obviously chasing the game is he not on a separate training schedule due to lack of fitness. I would of thought with ten men he would of brought on Rossiter for a striker and then Kranjkar as the game wore on and push Windass further forward.
