why do you keep posting stupid pictures? and why have you got hoops in your name? I find the Pics to be funny, even if some don't. Also, I couldn't think of a user ID when I first signed up so I went with that. If a MOD is willing to change My user ID I'm cool with it. Suggestions on a new one are welcome?

I find it odd as well, we heard about him possibly coming here a few months back and then it died down and now suddenly out of the blue he's signing for 1.5 mill, strange. A few months back Rangers thought He was worth 500k. What has happened since then than Walter now thinks He's worth 1.5m? 1.5m is a lot of cash for 'cash strapped' Club. Rangers could get Conway, Goodwillie for 500k more, countless others. Why Tommy Smith? What is it about Him? The Arsenal Boy gets a trial, Welcome gets a trial, Walter appeared to be taking His time and them *BOOM* a name from the past with an extra 1m on top of His previous price tag.

I have a lot of confidence in Walter Smith but this Tommy Smith bid seems to be a bit odd. My hopes were all up over Jelavic and then I get a hit with a possible Championship player that's 'hit and miss' and He's not coming cheap at 1.5m.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this: The disrespect shown at the Scotland International moment of silence a while back by the Celtic support was a disgrace. That game was shown across the UK if I remember correctly. Celtic's support made us, as a Country, look like a fool. On the highlights the minutes silence had to be edited to take out the chanting.

We've got the young Arsenal lad on trial right now with option to loan. I'd rather have Him in the team, and pay His wage, rather than spend a possible 1.5m on 30/31 year old player with a poor goal scoring record, no flair, and no sell on value.

If Tommy Smith signs I can't see there being a sudden rush on Jersey and Season Book sales. Have you seen him play before? Other than on MOTD? I think so, can't really remember His face though is this Him?

Ranger have weeks left they should only spend big on quality players and free transfer/loan deal/youth to bolster the squad. I'm sorry but I find a bid of 1.5m on Tommy Smith totally shocking. I'd rather Rangers bought Conway and Welcome for that money. In fact, I'd prefer Ranger loaned the Young Arsenal lad than Spend 1.5m on Tommy Smith.

After 3 years without a signing I think Gudjohnsen rather than Tommy Smith would get the fans more excited about the season ahead. Aslo: - Both play Striker/wide or in and about that area versatile. - Gudjohnsen has played at MUCH higher levels and in the SPL could be really good. - Neither Player has a sell on value. - With Gudjohnsen You skip the transfer fee and go directly to wages and Tommy Smith's 1.5m just for signing on makes up most of that. For Me, I'd rather have Gudjohnsen than Tommy Smith.
