  1. Been looking forward to this one getting announced! ? Got a feeling this could be a great signing for us!
  2. They would be shiting it going into a dressing room to face Walter Smith after this performance. Unfortunately the same can't be said for MW.
  3. He would benefit from hitting the gym and getting a bit of muscle about him. If he put in the work I reckon it would take him to the next level. When he beats his man it's all good but too often we see him getting bullied off the ball.
  4. At times the game just looks like it's going in slow motion around him. Hopefully he will only get better as the season goes on!
  5. Warburton says we didn't press and play at the tempo we aim to and that has been the focus this week in training which is good. But ultimately that was down to team selection - Kranjcar was blowing out his arse after 20 minutes and Joey was tripping over the ball. Get Holt in for Kranjcar and Rossiter in for Barton and right away you have the 'pack of wolves' in midfield that will chase down possession. Kranjcar will be most effective as a sub when the opposition are tiring and slowing down. Good to see Crooks will play a part against QoS.
  6. Three things are certain in life: death; taxes and Kenny Miller always has a say on derby day! Seriously though, I hope he gets goal 100 against them, you couldn't choose a better time to score it.
  7. Mix of excitement and nerves are there from now til it's done but I watch it all and can't wait for it. No better feeling than beating these smelly fucks. Come on The Rangers!
  8. I reckon he will still play. The one good thing for me is I took Delpo at 16/1 in outrights during the Murray's match and best price is now 9s. He's just beat Djokovic at the Olympics so if he can get through tonight I think he has a real shot at this.
  9. Fs usually you are waiting for someone to break, think the winner will be determined on who holds here!
  10. Think all the tennis Murray has played over the summer is catching up on him. He never makes it easy for himself though, so hopefully he pulls through.
  11. Fuck what they think. We should do our talking on the pitch on Saturday and show them we aren't here to challenge, we are here to win.
  12. Don't know why this bothers anyone, they should just be laughed at. Just remind them that in their life time and beyond they will never see their shitey horrible club surpass the world record of league titles held by the greatest Scottish team of all time, and then stand their laughing at them trying to convince themselves we are a new club. Pretending we don't exist is the only way they can be ahead of us. Must be shite knowing when you die your team was always second best. Thank fuck none of us will have that problem
  13. I like him as well. But he is by far not good enough to be a starter for us this season. We need a commanding defender who can organise at the back and isn't scared to get in and win a header! Kiernan is not that man.
  14. It's tough being a Murray fan.
  15. I remember around the start of the year reading that Djokovic said Olympics was his priority followed by the French. Having said that I think a few players have concerns over whether to play due to the Zika virus.
  16. Djokovic would still need the Olympic Gold Medal for a Golden Career Slam though. Murray has that but not the Australian!
  17. Excellent from Murray and massive final for both players on Sunday with a lot on the line. Two people in history have done the Golden Career Slam (Agassi and Nadal). A win for either player on Sunday will leave them one tournament away from being third! Would love if Murray could achieve that!
  18. Fuck sake. Murray serving out sets or to stay in them is brutal. Solid serving all set until it really matters.
  19. Agree. Stan isn't going to go away, he needs to step up the intensity and kill this match off in 3.
  20. Haha then you have Djokovic who doesn't seem to have bones don't know how to insert a youtube video but this is madness on a hard court! https://www.youtube.com/embed/cWxHJMhiEVo
  21. Both are demanding for different reasons. The ball tends to bounce higher on clay giving players longer to get to balls so rallies go for longer. Usually favours the fitter players, and puts the power players at a disadvantage. Grass is a much faster surface because the ball bounces so low, so almost the opposite of clay where the big hitters have the advantage. This is why winning the French then Wimbledon back to back is so rare. Takes a special player to complete that double! Hard courts tends to sit in the middle and the bounce of the ball is predictable. So outwith weather conditions etc it usually just favours the better all round player.
  22. Wawrinka breezing past Ramos-Vinolas 6-2 6-1 and a break up in the 3rd in the other quarter on this side of the draw.
  23. Gasquet simply playing better when it has mattered so far. Important set here for Murray with the home crowd behind Gasquet. Don't think Gasquet has ever beat Murray over 5 sets, so fitness levels could come into play if Murray takes this.
