You build a team round a strong spine front to back and I would be more than happy to have him at the head of that spine!

What do you mean by a one trick pony? Surely it is pretty hard to be a one trick pony as a midfielder Also he had an outstanding season considering the team he was playing for. But I definitely agree with you that we should get Vaughan ahead of Adam!

He scored equally important goals as Jela (bar hampden ), if it wasn't for his finishing in our slow start to the season they could have raced ahead, he scored vital goals when we were up against it. Granted he is a mercenary, but he is a proven goal scorer who was more than likely forced out the club for financial reasons. Look at papac, all he wanted was the same deal he was on, we were clearly not offering those kind of deals to players during the first 6 months of the season. So to call him a money grabber is a bit much, its not his fault some club was daft enough to pay him 50k a week!

I know the miller one has been put on hold but he has said 'as i said if nothing has come of this by thurs at 5pm then admin can kick me off this' regarding the tax case. If there is a statement tomorrow then it would be very coincidental that he had chosen this day. Granted he has about as many posts as me and not much to loose by being band......but I think we are all getting a little to worked up by it. With regards to him hinting at miller etc. If you look back to the beginning of the thread he does drop a few hints it would be miller in todays papers. Again he has either timed it very well with knowing miller would be coming back for the Scotland game and at the same time collecting his golden boot, inevitably this would give the press a chance to talk about the rangers and number 54. OR he has inside knowledge, i for one am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt until tomorrow. It may not be as exciting as some of the rumours and suggestions we have all been posting but it is sure as hell a realistic one.....only time will tell if he is telling the truth.
