  1. If our management and their staff are the cheap option, what of the future in general, Jan Wouters seems to have been another lifetime.
  2. These two rather low quality appointments tell me that we have no chance of a new owner any time soon. Any new owner would surely have had an input into appointments for the future, with an eye to moving forwards not backwards. Brown in particular is a backward step of some magnitude, very unpleasant stories I have heard about his attitude to the young players.
  3. The talking shop has no power to do anything, they can make recommendations that would have to be within the law, they can't change or invent new statutes.
  4. The answer to the mysterious sectarian St Mirren incident regarding the celtic supporting ball boy, was not amongst your envelopes was it.
  5. Another former striker Kris Boyd has gone on loan to Forest, would be ironic if he was to pass Big Eck on the way to the EPL, as Big Eck was coming down.
  6. James Beattie may be a lot of things, one thing he certainly is, is a better performer for B'pool in a far better league, than he ever was for us. The question is simply, is there a reason for this, is it something at Rangers that is at fault, is it the players who do not produce who are at fault, or is it a question many are happy to see go unasked or unanswered.
  7. Was impressed by JB's application and general play in tonights B'pool Chelsea game, looked an entirely different player to what we have seen at Ibrox. EHD seems to be going the same way, he looks a shadow of his former self, certainly in flair and ability, is there something inherently wrong with the setup at Ibrox, that these players tend not to produce their best.
  8. You may leave it at interesting if you wish, I wouldn't say it was interesting, merely a piece of information passed on in a fraternal manner. Also, every great journey starts with but a single step.
  9. Extreme abuse can be construed as a hate crime, the pertinent part for us is prejudice' From a press release by the Equality Network about Scotland’s new hate crime law, which will come into effect tomorrow, 24 March 2010: […] The new law is called the Offences (Aggravation by Prejudice) (Scotland) Act. It will mean that homo/biphobic, transphobic and disability-prejudice crime is properly recognised as hate crime. This is the first transgender-inclusive hate crime legislation in Europe, and has the most inclusive definition of transgender identity in any European legislation. From tomorrow, any criminal offence which is partly or wholly motivated by prejudice on grounds of disability, sexual orientation or transgender identity, will be dealt with as a hate crime all the way through the system. The offence could for example be an assault, or vandalism, or verbal threats and abuse which can be charged as breach of the peace, or any other crime. If the person committing the offence uses homo/biphobic, transphobic, or disability-prejudice language, or if there is any other evidence of their prejudiced motive, that makes it a hate crime. If anyone witnessing a crime thinks it was a hate crime, the police must record it as a hate incident. If there is any evidence of the hate motive, for example prejudiced language was used, it will be charged as a hate crime. If the person charged is found guilty, the hate motive will be taken into account in sentencing - and the court must say publicly what difference the hate motive made to the sentence. […]
  10. I can only say what I know, there are no cameras or microphones in the tunnel.
  11. Having worked on the new police command suite at Ibrox, I can tell you there are no CCTV cameras in the tunnel.
  12. Bains feeble words again steam rollered by the taig PR machine, we will never get a new owner at this rate.
  13. When you see someone like Bartley at 19, you get the feeling Fleck is average.
  14. Shit upon from a great height, again.
  15. Team seems to be playing with a modicum of fear as opposed to confidence, no matter which 11 take the field.
