You forget he’s been here since October and been knocked out of 2 semi finals by them aye and lost the league?

He became manager in December 2023.

The tarriers won a treble and now if they win at Ibrox in 3 weeks time are enormous favourites to win league, 4 games in.

He wasn’t expected to win the league last season with the team he had, and he’s at the very beginning of rebuilding that mess.

So you agree Raskin is not in the team for his defensive work, which is pretty obvious and I can base MY OPINION (the same thing you claim to do) on his statuesque effort when we lost that horrific goal against them. He's a baller and if someone is near by he'll attempt to get stuck in but he's certainly not someone who'll work his arse off to get back into position or track someone.

Your clearly on for an argument and likes even though you've agreed with my point.

Davies is woeful and your basically debating wether you'd rather be punched in the balls or kicked.

    You've excelled in that already

Raskin is not in the team for his defensive ability and pretty clear if you look at the goal we lost against the fenians. Having 2 workers in the middle would give him a free role to play.

It's an opinion, what the forum is for but you'd rather try act the smart arse for your wee bitch likes.

Davies is a fucking bombscare and sterling has only just came back so there's no chance Beale would start him. As I said it's not through thinking Lundstram is good I'd pick him, even beale picked him over Davies last season coz he was brutal.

I’m trying but like most others, i’m struggling to reach your dizzy heights.

Raskin’s a combative midfielder, no one said he was in the team for his defensive work alone, its just you thats come to the conclusion he doesnt like the defensive side of the game which is idiotic at best.

I’ve never posted on a forum for likes, i post my opinion.

Davies is far better equipped to play CB against Kilmarnock away than Lundstram. Beale did not pick Lundstram to play CB over Davies that i can remember.

Lol so you do know that Balogun went off injured, Goldson has only just started training, Davies is fucking woeful and Yfeko certainly won't start..........tell me who you pick beside Souttar coz it's certainly not through the love of Lundstram that I would pick him.

Lol so I do know, and I also know Lundstram’s not a decent midfielder never mind defender. If Balogun isnt fit I’d play Davies or even Sterling at LCB personally, but given your eagle eyed assessment of Raskin not liking the defensive side of the game, i’ve realised I’m in the presence of a tactial genius and I can only hope to one day be able to talk absolute shite just like you.

This is how I would line up against Kilmarnock, Lundstram is a better option at the back than any of the back up options.

I feel Raskin is not great with the defensive work so having Jack and Dowell in there would give him a free role.

Dessers and Sima have not impressed and Danilo looked a lot more mobile.

I don’t really want Tillman back for the reported fee but nothing sums us up more than letting the exclusive option expire and then offering less.

These types of used car salesman tactics will just simply stop us being able to get players like that on loan from elite level clubs, we just look so amateurish at times

I need to revisit this one mate, where have you plucked this one from?

What do you mean exactly? That was a step up.

Sorry to revisit, but the ultimate Rangers mans “step up” to alloa athletic in the same league and when he’s been in management 7 years prior to that really says more than I ever could. I dont know Thomsons motivation for chucking Kelty after getting them promoted, but a manager that truely believes in his ability would have at least seriously contemplated taking on a division that the tactical genuis Rhys McCabe managed to navigate and gain promotion from with a similar budget. Thomson wasnt even interested, anyone with any knowledge of it will know that.

Alloa approached and were unable to appoint 2 other bog standard managers before they appointed him, and it was ultimately a “look who we have” appointment. His record is absolutely horrific and Thomsons Kelty stint has proven to be borderline pointless.

  10. Thomson’s mistake was the job he took to get make a step into management. Ferguson achieved just as much with Kelty and no one will touch him with a barge pole. That experience is almost non existent.

I could see Yilmaz leaving, but purely down to if he has not settled, which my gut tells me might be the case.

Think the lad might be homesick and if so, could see him moving back.

If this was the case, I would want a new first choice left back in. Barisic could stay for the year as a backup, but I would not want to go into the season with him as first choice.

You need a new gut mate
