They ripped their squad apart and got a new manager.

We’ll be here with the same manager and no doubt loads of the squad will be the same

They’ve got the same left back and captain from that season tbf

edit: he wasnt the captain then obviously, point remains the same.

His lack of awareness when defending has probably stopped clubs down south making an effort to sign him. For us he must be worth a shout in a back three and make us not so reliant on him tracking runners. Yesterday he quite literally turned his back on Jota and had no idea where he was when the cross came in.

I hope to fuck you mean “with” a back 3 and not “in” a back 3!

  3. So we NEED to spend £15M on a front 3 but we should also spew £5Million on Tillman…looking like we need a £50M transfer kitty or they’ll romp it then coz they’re so far in front.

mind bogglin. Same people talkin about standards droppin in the squad, board room and management, come out with this absolute cluster fuck

Split hairs over a transfer fees all you want, but the point is we need investment to raise the quality.

They’ve spent a relative fortune on their front three, and a decent whack on the three who play second fiddle to them, do you think we are going to get so lucky that we pick up between three and five forward players who match their output, at a fraction of the financial outlay?

There’s no doubt we need to invest. “Atleast £15M on the front 3” sounds like all is lost if we dont. £12M isnt atleast £15M, end of discussion really.

Need at least £15million chucked at it if we are to win titles again and that's just the front 3.

Where is that coming from given we need another 15 chucked at defence midfield and keeper.

Their front 3 didnt cost that

    State names

But if you compare Walter I’m off

Go the other way then, if Beale hadnt previously been at Rangers, would he be here just now? No chance. Like it or not, he’s a highly regarded up and coming Manager with a ridiculous knowledge of the game. What exactly were you expecting of him this season?

Which is what? A glorious reputation as a first team coach? Thats our number one option for the Rangers manager job?

How anyone thinks that’s acceptable is beyond me

QPR can take risks like that because their fans expect fuck all and they’re a complete nothing entity

You should maybe go back and have a look at some of previous Managers resumes. They havent all been Dutch tacticians with World Cup Management experience btw.

I’m asking you on what footballing merit did he get the managerial job. If he hadn’t had an existing relationship with the current board he would have been nowhere near the job.

Probably the same merit that got him the QPR job and the subsequent offer of a Premiership job? What you reckon? Na?

  9. Ive got absolutely no idea what fans were expecting from Beale this season given the state of the squad, and the time he’s been given. Its fuckin absurd to suggest this is Beale’s fault. If we’re in the same position this time next season, and he’s actually backed to make the changes he and we all know are required, then its a different discussion.

    What’s made up

Why else did he get the job? What’s he done in management?

So Michael Beale got the Rangers job because he got on with the board, nothing else, no other reason? Wind yer neck in ffs it’s embarrassing

  11. 1 minute ago, Essandoh said:

    Just wildly untrue

Im not saying he’s a bigger problem than the players but the fact is we’ve got a novice manager in charge of our footballing department because he got on well with the board the last time he was here

    Thats a fucking farce

Its also alot of absolute made up shite

How can you make a claim that (even in your opinion) the players think that Kent is more important to the team when you have no evidence to support it

For all we know the players could absolutely despise Ryan and his deviant brother, it’s all pure speculation at the end of the day. I’ve no idea why it’s being used to defend Kent here.

Fuck me mate you’re not half clutching at straws here man. Everyone with eyes knows who the better player is but the team might think Sakala is more important?

There's a few similarities with them, both of them have been a Rangers talisman of their era, both of them joined when we were miles off winning the League, both of them won their first League Title in their 4th season.

That's where the similarities end though, Ally McCoist scored 163 goals in his first six seasons, Morelos is on a very respectable 122, great but not legendary, most of those McCoist's goals came in a period we were probably the 3rd/4th best Scottish club while Morelos has led the line in an era Scottish football is absolutely terrible.

I get why young guys who never saw McCoist would pick Alfie, I love him too but it's not backed up by facts or stats.

Tbf its not backed up by anything. No one who seen McCoist in his prime would have Morelos even in the same bracket.
