I am currently considering Buying the 27 inch 2.7GHz Apple iMac. I am starting University in september and some money has been freed up to buy one of these. I will be getting Apple's Student discount (15% i think) and i think they look absoulutely stunning. I bought the 32gb WiFi iPad 2 on release date and i havent had any problem with it so far, therefore i am pleased with their stuff. Could anyone on here tell me if the iMac is worth the money? I already have a 1TB external hard drive sitting unused for when i do buy a new machine. Will that prevent it from slowing down? I will be using it for web surfing, word processing, spreadsheets and all the other university work that you would come across and maybe football manager 12 when it comes out.

I think that if he gets full fitness over pre season and a good run in the team, he might do well. But with lafferty and jelavic establishing a good partnership up front, I doubt he may need to accept he is a backup player if he signs a deal (and if he's offered one)

When are they out? Something tells me we will get Celtic on the first day of the season which I would love personally. It's been a while since it's happened.

Call it raining on our parade or whatever but I firmly believe that this years league title challenge from them was too close for comfort. Ally has a big job on his hands to bring in the right players to contribute to fight our crown. Looking at the old firm games, we lost 3 drew 2 and won 2. celtic have looked strong and Lennon had options to choose from, whereas we were relatively depleted. Of course the management team won't tell the players that they were lucky, much to the old adage,'protect your players'. I firmly believe we need to try and bring 5-6 quality players on permanent deals in and keep the quality and consistent players we have. It's always hard to speculate for the fans (or even managing staff) at this time who will become available so I don't usually put my comments into transfer target threads and slap a price on players assuming that's what we will pay for them but one player has caught my eye. Instead of going after David Goodwillie, whom is speculated to be linked with both the OF and clubs in England, why not keep an eye on Peterboroughs Craig Mackail-Smith? Boasting 27 goals this season and surely a bagful of assists, surely he is worth a watch IF his current club fail to get promoted from League 1?
