Well I remembered him scoring against Celtic, but thats about it really. I take your point, but I mean a signing that would have us crowded outside Ibrox like when we signed Gazza or ( sharp intake of breathe) when they signed Keane. I just would love to have a player of that quality again signing for us.

While its good we are getting guys in at last, and although I had never heard of them until we went for pretty much all of our new signings, I would still have liked a big name signing or two just to give the place a bit of a buzz again.

I would rather just wait until we get the dross off our books and invest in a proper striker. We cold have three 30 something average at best strikers on our books on big wages, and id have zero confidence in any of them to do a job throughout a season.

I liked what Brookes Mileson did, but he proved that there is absolutely no money to be made from the game in Scotland. Theres no competition, no exposure, no chance of a return, and even the opportunity to have ourselves as a plaything was there for years but no-one was seriously interested. Even if someone bought a club and invested millions upon millions signing Drogba etc there would be no interest as it would hardly be a surprise when that club won the league.
