Well I remembered him scoring against Celtic, but thats about it really. I take your point, but I mean a signing that would have us crowded outside Ibrox like when we signed Gazza or ( sharp intake of breathe) when they signed Keane. I just would love to have a player of that quality again signing for us.

While its good we are getting guys in at last, and although I had never heard of them until we went for pretty much all of our new signings, I would still have liked a big name signing or two just to give the place a bit of a buzz again.

I would rather just wait until we get the dross off our books and invest in a proper striker. We cold have three 30 something average at best strikers on our books on big wages, and id have zero confidence in any of them to do a job throughout a season.

I liked what Brookes Mileson did, but he proved that there is absolutely no money to be made from the game in Scotland. Theres no competition, no exposure, no chance of a return, and even the opportunity to have ourselves as a plaything was there for years but no-one was seriously interested. Even if someone bought a club and invested millions upon millions signing Drogba etc there would be no interest as it would hardly be a surprise when that club won the league.

McCall was a fantastic passer of the ball and was everywhere, tackling all over the park. Didnt score as often as he should have but left that to Super, etc. Fergie gave the dig and again put in a shift to great effect, scoring goals as well. McCulloch pulls on a Rangers jersey, and thats where the similarities end. Ive not written Edu off yet, we have seen what he is capable of but this year really is make or break for him.

Its not Chelseas fault some clown wanted to blow millions upon millions filling their squad with world class players. If you are jealous of them then fair enough, Im sure loads of people had a great day out watching Lampard and co giving us a game instead of watching the likes of Ian Black kicking lumps out of us for a change.

I think too many people are relying on this 25 man thing, not every club down here is like Man City and Chelsea you know. Most of the overspill will stay in the EPL with clubs like Stoke and Bolton IMO.
